  1. I wonder if the allergies are wheat related? A friend of ours used to get breakouts and turns out she was allergic to wheat. Went gluten free and no more breakouts . Hope that helps, and screw the haters Alexis…no one’s business how you support yourself. Misery loves company, tell ‘em to get off your nuts😂😂😂😂😂….and worry about their own lives. We love ya….✌🏽😃✌🏽

  3. I really looks like perioral dermatitis. I had it cover my entire face. When it gets to this state, you really need topical and oral antibiotics – please chat with your dr about it. Then avoid salt water, but also things like vaseline. Big hugs

  4. So I've been struggling with maybe? Perorial dermatitis on and off for a few years now and some things that have helped mine:
    – Osmia black clay soap
    – Cutting out sodium laureth sulfate in all skin and hair care
    – cutting out any type of foaming face products
    – check your toothpaste. Changing toothpastes seems to cause it to flare up for me

Hopefully this can give you some relief! I know the struggle and it sucks, especially because it's on your face.

  5. Sorry if I missed this in the past (and not trying to be a know it all I swear, I know a lot of people don't like unsolicited advice on health stuff), but have any of your derms mentioned you may be sensitive to chlorine in tap water? At my last apartment, something with the water system/pipes was worked on/replaced and all of a sudden our water was SO much more chlorinated out of the blue and without warning, to the point I had to filter everything I drank. (And I get a similar itchy rash when I stay in hotels with really chlorinated water, it's a nightmare).

If it's starting to affect your skin at home and not just traveling, either using a shower head with a replaceable filter or switching the current one out (if your shower has one) may work! I have to use a shower head intended for filtering out super hard water to control the chlorine. I feel for you with the rash and hope you're able to get some answers eventually ❤❤

  6. I loved this video and any of those "perfect utubers" I am not interested in. Yours was interesting. Maybe for your face, get back to one face wash, one moisturizer that you never had issues with. Use it for awhile and see. Maybe too many new products that they are sending you or you're mixing that don't go well. Get back to your basics for a minute and never apologize for that upsetting you. It's allowed. Great video. Good luck with the auditions.

  8. I love watching your videos because your video seem very much more relatable in terms of adulting (especially here in NYC as I live here too!)
I want to pick up the camera and continue vlogging (As I have lots of raw footage sitting in the caverns of my hard drive waiting to be edited oof).
    Hopefully one day.

  9. Hi sis, just found you a few weeks ago. Love your content and your energy. Sooo I have that too, the anxiety of becoming ill, it's called hypochondrisis. We are hypochondriacs. Im actually struggling with it pretty bad too… I think it's bc of how chaotic the world is. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm actually starting my new routine today as well. Also in the mornings, right when you wake up, drink warm water with a splash of apple cider vinegar. It's great for… so many things! It gives you energy, betters your metabolism, helps with burning fat, keeps you full longer so you don't over eat, helps with skin… etc. Detoxes .. lol. Sending your a virtual hug! -Vanessa

  10. Hi!! As someone who’s had eczema my whole life, i feel you!! Since it’s something new, there’s likely something triggering it (and not just autoimmune related). Have you used anything new on your face recently? Or eaten anything new? Sometimes different soaps/detergents can cause flares! I would try an elimination diet or removing one potentially irritating thing from from your routine at a time to try to find your trigger! Your skin isn’t flaring for no reason so trying to find your trigger if your best bet at a long term solution! (PSA: try to avoid steroid creams bc they’re highly addictive and will only be masking your symptoms, not solving them)

  11. Hey! Have you considered that it might be a stress rash? Traveling can be extremely stressful for those of us with high anxiety, my eczema always flares when I have a big trip. Maybe it won’t go away bc it’s stressing you out? For now I would lather on Cerave moisturizing cream at night. I hope it gets better soon i totally know how it feels, I had a skin issue for a while that no one seemed to care about.

As for health and gut issues I would recommend doing a whole 30, it’s a diet where you cut out most common food irritants for 30 days, see how you feel, and slowly reintroduce things one at a time. If you find something you’re body doesn’t mesh well with, you don’t have to cut it out of your life completely. I’m allergic to dairy (it makes my skin worse) but I still eat it in moderation. It’s hard to do but it’s important to remember that extremely restrictive diets should never be permanent (excluding special cases for medical reasons ofc).

  12. Also, have they tested you for psoriasis? It low key looks like that. My dad has it and he gets it when he gets stressed, all over his body and I have it as well but it mostly comes on my scalp & at times it'll happen on my cheek… but it could be allergies too? Have your tried benadryl?

  13. Hi there ! I wonder if you have considered your diet and how much sugar you have in a day could be contributing to your anxiety and the rash ? Just that one Starbucks giant coffee you had had like 45 plus grams of sugar and then those matcha drink was loaded with sugar im guessing maltodextrin as well, which is super high on the glycemic index and the oat milk ya drink loads of is filled with added sugar! Just a thought maybe trying to watch the amount of added sugar could help the agave is totally a sugar fructose bomb ! I know it’s hard to figure it out that so much of our food is loaded i have a daughter who is 33 and she is just starting to get what I have been trying to tell her ! I enjoy your videos and I sure hope the rash gets better !

  14. Hey Alexis , i suffered from those type of rashes since i had my sons, and i went to different dem too and they couldn’t tell me anything and they wasnt so worried..until i began to really pay attention to myself , and these rashes showed up when i was stressed .. my rashes would show up on my arms or thighs side of my boobs and under my neck and after the flare ups because of stress everything would irritated more … i now just simply put cortisone religious on it and it drys out for a while as long as i manage my stress levels .. sometimes we dont really realize how stress we are until our bodies tell us … and for me those rashes your showing is a sign of stress for me .. butttttttt – could it be and allergic reaction to Bennett ? Have you try to take a allergy med to see if it helps? Hoping you find some type of relief on you rash .

  15. Hi girly! I have (diagnosed since I was 7) OCD and a huge one is "health compulsions" – look it up (maybe you already have) but I always thought I had anxiety but OCD is obvs in the same realm but the treatment I've done for it (DBT and CBT) have really helped and there's a lot of really good excercises specific to it. I remember convincing myself I had HIV (when it was impossible for me to get it) and getting blood tests done every 2 weeks. It gets better <3

  16. Have you thought about transitioning to decaf coffee. You could start out mixing half decaf and have regular. I know decaf still has a little bit of caffeine. I am a decaf iced coffee girl and I make it at home.

  17. Hey Alexis! Always love when a new video comes out on your channel! 🙂 I know unwanted suggestions can be really annoying, so I'm sorry if this is something you've already tried and feel free to ignore, but I had pretty bad eczema as a kid and also terrible stomach aches. Like glass scraping my intestines rip lol. Turns out I had celiac and eating gluten was wrecking my body inside and out yay! I have a friend who also has a few food allergies, and their eczema tends to flare up when they eat the wrong foods. If you haven't already, it might be worth looking into if any foods could be triggering your symptoms.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend, can't wait for your next video! 🙂

  18. As a fellow anxious and health anxious woman in her 50s… this is also so relatable! But it will be OK… take it a day at a time, and be kind to yourself. Life is hard sometimes!

  19. I have always heard that a rash or breakout on the jawline is from an allergy. Most likely a food allergy. I know you keep mentioning that you've recently switched to teas. Try a different brand of that tea, or try cutting it out for a minute to see if it goes away. I hope you can figure it out soon, but also it doesn't look half as bad as you imagine it to. Hope that helps!

  20. I think it looks like perioral dermatitis. I had than when I was pregnant with my son. The dermatologist gave me something to wash with daily. It made it worst and then she told me to stop and gave me a topical cream and that helped. It never came back even though I was told it would flare up on and off but it never did. My son is now 13 and never got it again. Have you tried Cerave cream to help keep it moisturized?
