I cannot help but wonder how many planets were driven into the arms of the traitors, knowing they were fucked either way but if they surrendered they might have had a chance to resist the oncoming red talon if for no other reason rhan defense infrastructure would be intact. (Otherwise known as "being a hard man making hard decisions possibky while harder than terminator armor experiencing real-world consequences for said activities…")
