All modern cars use something that would have been illegal 30 years ago. Electronic controlled throttles with no way to close the throttle mechanically when you take your foot off the gas pedal. We need legislation to prevent this. The only reason cars have it is for traction control. Its just too risky. This is inly the start. Toyota said it was their floor mats but that is 100% a lie.
