  1. Plenty of armchair detectives on this comment thread. Before the actual facts are known. A few, really off the wall. FOX 'theories' that terrorism was involved? This early on in the investigation? Bravo, Sherlock… BTW I am sure the loved ones and friends of those killed really appreciate FOX's 'input'.

  2. Having been in a car crash where the motor mounts broke pinning the accelerator to the floor, I understand one of the ways this could happen. Let the investigation continue, wait for a conclusion. RIP.

  3. All modern cars use something that would have been illegal 30 years ago. Electronic controlled throttles with no way to close the throttle mechanically when you take your foot off the gas pedal. We need legislation to prevent this. The only reason cars have it is for traction control. Its just too risky. This is inly the start. Toyota said it was their floor mats but that is 100% a lie.
I bet the farm This car had an electrical problem and it held the throttle wide open and there was nothing the driver could do about it

  4. A long time ago, My sisters Mbz accelerator stuck and she went airborne out of jack in the box. Luckily my excessive insistence on seatbelts saved my nephew and sister. It saved them.
