There is no way in hell they Start production in December. They still believe they can pull off production with 50 Million Dollars which they don't even have.
Nothing happens without money. Aptera is in dire need. Investors are awash with cash. But money is only available with a substantial equity position. Aptera is dreaming, hoping, wishing, that money becomes available with few strings at reached. Investors will wait until the last gasping breath and pick up the pieces for pennies on the dollar while the original investment is all but lost. Aptera is apiarwntly not for sale. But the only way investors will invest a penny is with controllable equity position. Unlikely the two come together in a mutually favorable way. Vultures will begin circling soon.

The first Aptera was not a pure EV but more of a hybrid.
@Kineticsview I am disgruntled about this display of making money over offering value to Aptera interested viewers like me? Nothing more nothing less. Aptera is the near future of commuting and I watch for new reports on progress. You seem incapable of grasping the issue which is your not offering value. In this case where Aptera had already reported on their channel the information copied and shown again here. This is NOT reporting. This reporting was not even slightly unique, exceptional nor enlightening but was done solely recopied to make click profits as the only interest. Your efforts on display that represent you poorly are best described as boringly redundant. Next time when reporting try to institute the 5 "W"s of good journalistic habits. Arizona University can help you realize through study and reflection the errors of your present approach to telling something of value to viewers who watch Aptera's progress with each passing day. If you can report with value to add to so many wishing Aptera success in their endeavors as they redesign transportation to the Earth's benefit then uniquely report that.

Who wants such an impractical quirky looking and very small vehicle that will cost loadsa money ? it will go the same way as the Sinclair C5

I wish Aptera luck but they and all other auto manufacturers have a very, very tough competitor, Tesla. The Model 2 and 3 will be safer as they are the safest cars on the road, have lower insurance costs as they have the lowest claims on any vehicle, and have more trunk space for same price. Tesla is more refined and luxurious with entertainment options and superchargers and look like a normal car. Tesla’s cost about $1.00 to drive 25 miles, if Aptera is twice as efficient that means $2k per 100k miles in savings. Not enough justification IMO plus in 10 years electricity will be much cheaper and in 20 years electricity will be free. I predict they will have a similar trajectory and sales as the smart car. People buy performance, looks, reliability, utility, and status not efficiency which in some cases lowers status like the Prius. Want proof of the market? Look no further than the G wagon, it maxes out performance, utility, and status but has worst scores in looks except it is recognizable, it breaks down constantly, and gets 8 MPG. Tesla however is working to be #1 in all areas

Please consider changing the title of this video, as it is misinformation and falsely represents Aptera.
Realistically, production won’t commence until late 2024/early 2025.
Perhaps what you were thinking of are the delta bodies (now called Production-Intent, or PI builds) which should be completed by the end of this year and shipped to San Diego.
Just try to fix one. It's something people will not want. too small, two seats goofy looks. May sell in Commiefornia.
Never going to happen in 2023 and doubt it will in 2024… Aptera the scam of the 2000's still rolls on…
