An $8,000 SUNSET SKY SUITE on Celebrity Cruises (Full Room Tour)

I stay in an $8,000 Sunset Sky Suite on a Celebrity Cruise and give you a full room tour of a corner sunset sky suite on the Celebrity Reflection. This is stateroom 1688 onboard Celebrity Reflection, the newest Solstice-class ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet. This Sunset Sky Suite is part of The Retreat. The Retreat is Celebrity Cruises’ suites and features exclusive access to a Retreat lounge and Luminae, which is dining only for guests of the Retreat.

This 9-day Mediterranean cruise on Celebrity Reflection departed Barcelona to visit the ports of call of Marseilles, Villefranche (Nice), Pisa/Florence (Livorno), Genoa, Sicily, Naples, and Rome.

Celebrity Reflection is currently the fourth oldest ship in the Celebrity Cruises fleet of ships, debuting back in 2012. The Retreat on Celebrity Reflection features entry-level Sky Suites, Celebrity Suites, Royal Suites, and many more classes of suite staterooms. My room onboard Celebrity Reflection in the Retreat was a Sky Suite and I paid nearly $8,000 for this room for a solo cruiser.

I will also do a full ship tour of Celebrity Reflection, a room tour of my Corner Sunset Sky Suite, and more vlogs to show you what staying in the Retreat with Celebrity Cruises onboard Celebrity Reflection is like.

  1. The square footage is really incredible, both in the room and on balcony. Does seem strange to have the towels hanging in the tub/shower, though. I know it's such a small thing, but did you notice that the towels would get wet as you showered and made drying off a little trickier?

Hope you got pizza while in Naples!

  2. Love it but I would research the various decks (looking at photos) to get one without the outside obstruction. I know some decks do not have the window washer on these Solstice class ships.

  3. Zach, I have a very strange question, the Bigalow products in the bathroom, are they complimentary ( meaning can you take they when you leave like the smaller bottles they had before)? I didn’t think to ask on my last cruise.

  4. While the room is big that fat pole is horrible and in the bathroom the sink is very shallow. Overall it’s a nice room but not for $8,000 but you first stated it was $7,000. Thanks to your you tube video $$$ you can afford this !
