Watch stuff and learn and chill hi whatsup ⚔️👋🧐

Hi everyone! I’m an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through YouTube videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. Let’s be respectful but, just as importantly, not be afraid to question any and everything about historical records in order to give us the most accurate representation of the history of our species and of our planet!

Having a diverse perspective is crucial to what I want to achieve here so please don’t hold back! I want to learn about all I can! Keep recommending and PLEAESE join my Discord 🙂 ( https://discord.gg/ejxUtD2X )

  1. That guy in the video seems like the sort of American i wouldn't get along with.

Also, i've never seen family members of a deceased rider call for the TT to be banned. I've only ever seen them mention the fact that the rider loved the TT & completely understood the risks, as did the family & friends.

  2. Hey Connor. Great reaction video on several levels. The subject matter (I have ridden motorbikes for 36 years but never THAT fast and, like you, I am spellbound by the TT), your infectious enthusiasm (so enjoyable) and your attitude to the nannying tendencies of some people who want to ban anything risky (I agree 100% that we should be permitted to kill ourselves however we choose). I also loved that your watching this superbly presented video was like a double espresso, transforming you from sleepy to wide-eyed and alert, ready to defend people's freedom of choice. Outstanding, sir!

  3. Not on a bicycle, but I've had it happen on a motorbike at high speed, it's known as a 'tank slapper' meaning that the handle bars flap from side to side so violently that they hit the fuel tank on each side repeatedly, it is terrifying.

  4. Alot of people seem to miss the main point and that is
People choose to do this because they want just like they do with boxing, climbing mountains, all forms of car racing.,parachuting, surfing and probably more other sports that are dangerous.
Their lives their choice i dont do any of the above i do believe in people freedom to choose.

  5. Yeah, let willing participants in dangerous sports continue to do so if they wish. No one can ask the horses if they want to participate in races where they are 100+* more likely to die than the willing rider. Food for thought.

  6. Never heard anything about family members wanting it cancelled before to be honest. I’m sure theirs probably been a few in the past but the majority of them understood why the riders ride the TT

  7. 300cc is around 25-35 hp(doubt back then it was more than maybe 8-10hp), some sorts bikes like the r3 have 41hp from 300cc , it depends what engine is used to create the power , online 4+6 usually the fastest performance wise (600cc+1000cc)

  8. Is it worth it??? absolutely….. the riders, spectators, sponsors all know that this race IS fatal. Don't knock it until you've either seen it or been round the circuit (jaw droppingly scary)
Oh, and one more thing, I wish these video "creators" would get their facts correct – – – for example, in this there are clips of Irish road racing (where the guy flips over the bike), the road is wet – – TT races on dry roads, a mass start – – TT riders get sent off individually.

  9. More people are killed by guns in a week in the USA than die during the TT races !!
FUN FACT. Did you know that MANX cats have no tails ?
15.32 A " FISH VAN ". A van that delivers fresh fish ! The roads were NOT closed to traffic on practice days.
    Motorcycle + speed = death !
FOOT and MOUTH disease was an animal disease that swept the country in 2001. It caused crisis in British agriculture and tourism. There were 2000 cases in farms across the UK. 6 MILLION cows and sheep were destroyed in an attempt to halt the disease.

  10. More Americans die on the Can every year than die in the TT races but no one discusses a potential ban on defecation in the USA despite the obvious safety and environmental advantages of a ban.

  11. In less than a weeks time, we will get thousands of spectators driving past my house heading to the harbour (heysham) for the ferry. Every year, I have the same thought: "Will everyone of them get to use their return ticket"

  12. Technically the Isle of Man TT isn’t a race as such. If you want to see full on road racing you need to look up the NW200 in Northern Ireland. That is full on racing on public roads at crazy speeds. Also the Ulster Grand Prix in Dondrod.
