About Meghan:
Meghan O’Neill, an Evaluation Lead at Child Health BC, utilizes continuous quality improvement and evaluation methodologies to strengthen province-wide services for children and youth across British Columbia. With a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto, she brings several years of experience leading complex evaluations across the health system. Meghan is an avid coffee enthusiast, dedicating her mornings to the art of crafting the perfect latte. Her quest for the ultimate espresso shot has turned her kitchen into a mini café, complete with a collection of fresh espresso beans and a top-tier espresso machine. When not immersed in quality improvement and evaluation work, Meghan can be found hiking the scenic trails of British Columbia. She is looking forward to a three night backcountry trip this summer at Kootenay National Park.
About Kate-Lin:
Kate-Lin (she/her) attended Waterloo from 2014-2018, and went on to complete her masters of Occupational Therapy at Queen’s. Kate-Lin has worked as an Occupational Therapist at KidsAbility since 2021; starting in School Based Rehab Services and recently making the change to Early Years and Entry to School programs. As a Recreation and Leisure Studies alumni, Kate-Lin understands the importance of making time for recreation and leisure activities; outside of work, you can find her playing field hockey or working out, playing board games (Dungeons & Dragons with some other Health alum!) working on a puzzle or napping with her cat Bonnie.
About Brendan:
Brendan completed a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, master’s in Biomechanics and Neurophysiology at the University of Guelph, and is currently finishing his PhD in Biomechanics at the University of Waterloo.
