  1. But Bandit…a couple of people do know about moon tears like a normal occurance…the merchant scrub and also the observatory guy explicitly say that the rumble must have been a moon tear…wich is exactly the same than those we see in the observatory… yeah majora DID something to the moon, no doubt about it but it did not make it or replace it in my opinion due to those facts….what do you think about that?

  2. Slightly unrelated, how do people think “traditional dungeons” could’ve been implemented on BotW?

    Honest question.

In my opinion, I think they nailed the objective of the game with the shrines and Devine Beasts. I can’t think of anything better. Look, there’s no jewel, rock, artifact or anything at all to go after. A dungeon item wouldn’t work here either, as weapons and equipment break in the game. Shrines have spirit orbs to make you stronger, and only if you want to. The whole point of this particular game is choice. Your OWN adventure. It’s not like other Zelda games. It doesn’t have boundaries.

People always say they would’ve liked to see dungeons in BotW, so please, I’m curious, how could that be done?

  3. There is some evedence that the moon normally does have a face. The twin jugglers say nothing about the moons face, which you would think would be the first thing you notice, only that it’s scary and has red eyes.
Also on the back of the mayors chair there is a moon shaped ornament with a smile on it. The busyness scrub in town is collecting moons tears, which seem to be a known about thing. Implying they happened more then just this one time.

  4. One thing you missed about the moon is the fact the mayors house has depictions of the moon decorating his house and office. But more importantly its a depiction of the moon with a smile. The moon was always there and it always had a face, but its only when the mask showed up when it took on an angry face. Majora didnt create it, but they did take control of it

Also while i'm at it there is a very important distinction about majoras mask that i see many people mistaking. You claimed that the dark tribe created the mask and this is what most others would say too. But go through and read whats actually said ingame, they only ever said they USED the mask in their rituals. Nowhere does it ever say anything about them CREATING it

Ask yourself, how would they get caught unawares and overwhelmed by the power inside it if they're the ones who created it, they should know it literally inside and out. No, to me its more likely they found the mask and used it to become a powerful dark tribe, not aware of the true power dormant within

  5. Honestly, I like lore. But I don't think it matters if we know what majora was or if it had a story. Because ultimately, it wouldn't have been the only one. Majora's mask is a game about grief, heartbreak, Isolation, and change. Powerful Themes that affect everyone in the world, from the townsfolk to link, and even the player themselves. Just knowing that is enough for me.

  6. Anyone else notice that the Moon in Majora's Mask and how bizarre it was that it suddenly caught fire as it was slowly lowering towards Clock Town in the Final Hours. Given how slowly it descended it SHOULDN'T have destroyed Termina but what should have happened is the Moon Crushes Clock Town and then Rolls away in a Random Direction. The Game gives the impression that it Blew Up as soon as it touched the ground like a Massive Powder Keg.
