Albion police rescue stabbed child from mother holding her underwater, bodycam video shows

An Albion public safety officer and Calhoun County deputy rescued a 2-year-old child from her own mother Saturday morning, with seconds to spare.

Body camera video given to News Channel 3 through a Freedom of Information Act request showed police pull up to a home on Bluestem Court around 10:30 a.m.

Children can be heard on video screaming for help. The two responders enter the home and hear commotion behind a closed door.

The officer kicks in the door and finds a 35-year-old mother holding her daughter underwater in a bathtub.

  1. A story about a crazy mom who after numerous calls to the home finally convinced police she should be locked and away from children.

A story about a guy who kept to many pets is still keeping to many pets.

The Third story, A package arrived at someones home up north but they weren't expecting a package and it "looked suspicious"??. After sharing this with the fb community, other people said this happened to them too. The report tells us this could be a possible promo item or even stolen goods. Did anyone bother to open their package? Where they afraid it may explode? Oh, never mind. How can that even be a story on our local news W-EMPTY?!!

  3. Officer thank you for knocking down and saving that little baby girl. Mother should be charged . Social services better not give those kids back to her . Or they will have blood on their hands .
