Stationeers Brutal Mars Ep7. a base monitoring system. A solar experiment and 80 liters of water.

In this episode I decided to test a covering solar panel against storms. Also a shout out to Charles for his base cooling recommendation. Check it out!! I did have an OBS crash so the recording stopped in the middle. 🙁 I also started a one look base monitoring system which I will be improving on as we go.

  1. That cooling system I described i ment the other way radiators INSIDE ur nab and the cowl pulling in Mars air, but hey if it works, it works! Note if u do this same cooling in super cold place ,Ie Europa, definitely have Europa air run thru the pipe or your hab air will get trapped inside and freeze. 2nd note for the solar “box” the frames they are on need to fully welded too. As well you will need the the atmosphere inside the box be different then the world. Either pressure or temp There is a bug if it sees a room and the atmosphere inside is same as the world it will not consider it separated for storms

  2. If you expand the piping inside and add 1 vent per frame it will help with cooling. Pipes are instantly equal, but blocks/cells take time to equalize

Also I would recommend you and a pipe drain on the outside pipe. If the valve spends too much time off the outside gases could liquidate and cause the rapture.
