  1. Ooohhh gorgeous calabrese apparently they love the weather and nutrients and yes you’ll get side shoots 👍👍. Great job on the cages and will work a charm. I will have to brave the mosquitoes and get my winter brassica plants in beds very soon. Hopefully your keeping well and staying safe 👍

  2. Cheers Alan, you planted them at exactly the right time before the hot weather came and they probably knew that and decided to flower early. I struggled for years and you get a perfect harvest in 5 weeks…….🤣 nature always finds away.

  3. Looks great Alan! Impressed with the broccoli. Mine took about 60 days in the states. You must have some pretty good compost. Love the brassica cages. Wish we could get scaffolding netting here. I use Enviromesh, but boy, it is a sail in high wind. The scaffolding netting looks perfect for netting veg. Stay well!

  5. Hi Alan just seen your video and i enjoyed the content so much that i decided to Subscribe, i just have to go back and watch a few more videos now. I don't have a channel or allotment but i do have two 6×3 and 22" high raised beds in my garden on top of some flags. I also do alot of playlist of various Gardening videos, DIY and some Woodworking ones.
