As someone who had a lame childhood and didn't watch Adventure Time, maybe this will help.

So regarding Golb, I saw a theory that says he's a baby. Like his physical appearance is big. But when it comes down to it, he's an infant. Plus his age matches that of multiverse. So the Multiverse of Adventure Time is in its infancy.

For clarity I am not typing this comment out of anger I just want to make sure anyone who reads this and doesn't understand how that worked now understands it better
So interesting thing, they eventually made 4 more final episodes of the Adventure Time where we actually see Finn and Jake on one final Adventure that ends with Finn rejecting another opportunity of immortality so he can die peacefully together with Jake, marking the end of their adventures
