I'm temped by the AW, but I'm heavily attached to my Garmin. I had an AW3 some time ago. The battery stunk and it really needed third party apps to make it complete. Also, I really like some of the advanced features for running. It's almost like having a dedicated coach. Last, I like having real buttons on the Garmin watch. Great for running in cold weather. 💎 💎

Titanium band looks cool! 💎 By the way I use the trail loop band for running. Here’s a tip if you put the band where the color is on the right side so you tighten the band upward, it’s easier to adjust while running if you need to, which I’ve done a few times. I also use the action button for the flashlight which comes in handy daily. Never had it come on accidentally.

I absolutely LOVE my Ultra. I had been putting off getting an Apple Watch since the series 6 because I mainly wanted it for health reasons and didn’t feel that the features in past series was worth price until the Ultra. The fact that it also has a flat screen is an added bonus to this clumsy gal! 😅

I understand your point of view but in the end it is a matter of what you want. I had a s7 apple watch, now I have the ultra. I absolutely love it, got no complaints and I am a pretty active guy. Charging for 30-40 mins every 2 days, fine by me!! 💎

💎 Great review. I upgraded from a Series 3 Nike which after years of moderate use finally died due to the black screen of death.
Like yourself, I too am a standard user, 3-4 workouts a week, very little celluar and sleep track use so my battery life always gives me 3-4 days of basic use.
Reason for buying? … I love the aesthetics and build quality of this watch. I tried it on before committing as I too was a little concerned about the size and weight. It wasnt an issue so I got it. I’ll most likely keep this watch for good few years like I did with my series 3. Hoping I dont get issues with the battery from basic use or software updates.
I keep buying the ultra then returning it😂 I want it to replace my Garmin but it doesn’t, the battery life is a big one for me.
