  1. A seemingy 'abandoned' street blocked off like that in a heavily populated suburb is always going to attract dark illegal things. I wonder how many locals actually know it's even there. I bet the areas criminals know very well.

  2. Definitely named – Gazetted as Maxwell Road, Glebe. The fencing and signs are because it's been used as a works depot for light rail, roadworks, and other purposes over the years.

You could walk down that in the early 80s right up till the early 2000s I used cut through there weekly or even every second day in the late 80s to to late 90s on the regular locals walked it with dogs and joggers. I looked at it maybe 2yrs back. Was also a dumping ground for rubbish stash spot for stolen bikes and a get away for crims being chased by cops lol. I didn't know about the murders but I did hear of muggings that happened there. Interesting thanks for video and stories. Lol I can tell you 4 stories about that spot about old 70s race cars a postie bike fall from trying to do Graffiti and bizzare photoshoot in the tramsheds. 😬
