Finally!! ME3 in the house!!! 😀 Get those war assets pumping! Earth needs YOU!
ME3 allows you to carry all the weapon types, but the heavier your load, the slower your cooldown recharge. Since you'll want to be able to Charge as often as possible, keep your load light by carrying only the weapons you need.
You are a vanguard. Your melee damage (based on the weapon you are holding (shotgun is for the job)) is the best amongst the classes.

I will start by saying just how much I love your reactions to the game, your enthusiasm and emotional investment are a joy to watch 😁👍
On this stream in particular, I have to say that I found it both frustrating and highly amusing that in this tutorial section you made a conscious choice to ignore almost every tutorial prompt (e.g. how to move between cover without exposing yourself). It certainly made for an exciting watch… I am just a little concerned for your later play that there will be new game mechanics that you won't know to use as a result.
Suggestion: Off air, try running the first mission and Mars again, this time watching out for and acting on the prompts as they appear. That way you will learn all the new stuff without spoiling yourself. 😁

I’m only 30 seconds in and I can already tell you fucked up the war assets (unless you play a VERY specific class.. the lack of disruptor always hurts)… best of luck tho !!!! We will see what happens 😂 ngl it’s neat to see some one play this for the first time

you fight like a real vanguard, love it, not many people learn how to use the vanguard powers in their first playthrough

I love this game! Its interesting for those doing first playthrough's of the legendary edition sticking to the choices they make through each game. Those of us who played the originals when they came out had years to wait between each game coming out and therefore played each game several times in order to get what we considered our own perfect playthrough's. Well thats how it was for me anyway, so I never started ME3 without all my companions
So excited for your mass effect 3 playthrough! The final mission of 2 was so sad…could see the panic moments in your reaction but was impressed by your sticking with the decisions and consequences. Curious to see what the differences are in 3, given the path taken.
Oh also don't worry about your conversation choices. The previous games used a very black and white "good or bad" system for your conversation choices. This game allows you to be more fluid with what you say. So say what YOU may want to say sometimes because it will still seem natural coming from your Shepard.
Your reaction at 12:15 was so funny. lol The first few hours of ME3 are full of moments like that, where you realize "Whoa, I can do this now??" 🙂

We only had to wait 2 games and 12:26 until Marissa found out she can use meele attack. There should be an achievment in ME2 to finish without meele kill as vanguard
Wow, I just had to go back and rewatch, and actually seeing the tear rolling down your cheek as the little boy died is a deliciously emotional reaction. 🙂 That's how it should be, what they were going for.. gripping and moving. Great stuff! (And there is no shortage of sadness and despair in ME3) .. keep 'em coming!
Interesting, my first playthrough in ME 1 i sacrificed Kaiden, released the rachni queen, and saved the council. In 2 I set Garrus as team 2 lead both times since he had leadership experience, Legion in the tubes since he is geth and could hack anything, Sama as a biotic, and sent mordin back since he in the past worked with the salarian special tasks group and the weakest. That was back when Mass Effect 2 first came out so I didnt have any data on min max and guess what, it was the perfect choices to make sure everyone lives. Hell being a gunners mate in the Navy and the NCO of my crew I had to position people based on skills and strengths.

I'm wondering if you know about the weapon weight system which was introduced in ME3? The more weapons you equip, the slower your biotic cooldowns will be meaning it takes more time inbetween using your next biotic charge. Since you are vanguard, I would recommend sticking to either shotgun or heavy pistol with melee mod added to the weapons. Both Piranha and N7 Crusader shotguns are the best shotguns around. M-300 Claymore is not a very good shotgun which is what you're using I believe.
God this could be a fantastic tv-show if done properly
