Head through the reserve at sunrise with us as the other wildlife are stirring, such as zebra and impala, as we head to the homestead and orphanage. Adine visits Khanyisa for morning snacks of sweet potatoes and pellets after her milk bottles, and then joins Phabeni at the fence as Jabulani comes to visit. Tigere, Stavros and Adine are all close by, keeping a watch over the two bulls. Phabeni gets a good whiff of Jabulani as the wind blows the bigger bull’s scent his way, and the calf bravely reaches out his trunk to investigate it. After all his socialising, it’s time for a nap in the reeds!
