The first thing you see when you approach the Magic Kingdom is the Main Street Train Station. There is no better connection to Walt Disney himself than the Railroad. Walt’s love of trains started as a young boy in Marceline and led to his backyard Carolwood Pacific Railway. That love continued with the development of Disneyland and a train circling the park disconnecting guests from the outside world and allowing Walt to create his own land inside the railway. The Walt Disney World Railroad is directly connected to Walt and the ideas that inspired and inspired Disney parks worldwide.
While you’re waiting for the next locomotive at the station, be sure to check out the details of the lobby. You’ll find images of the Carolwood Pacific Railway. You would have seen historical artifacts, arcade machines in the early 1900s, a Mutoscope (or two), and early motion picture devices. You don’t need a penny to watch, walk up and start cranking. There is history all around, including the first floor with a representation of the Disney Legends the trains are named after.
Let’s take a grand circle tour. Look for a special treat during this ride. After the adventure land station, the train track runs close to the Mark Twain riverboat, and if the timing is just right, the train engineer and riverboat captain like to have a little fun with the whistles.
Thanks for riding along, be sure to subscribe for more.

I really wish they’d put something in between fantasyland and Main Street like Disneyland has. It’s just so boring I. That stretch.
The attention to detail at Disney World never ceases to amaze me Even the train station has so many little touches that make it special
I could spend hours just soaking in the atmosphere of the train station It really transports you to a different era
It's incredible to think about how Walt Disney's childhood love for trains led to the creation of this iconic attraction Truly inspiring
