  1. Just get a Toyota, preferably with the 4.7 or 5.7 V8. The 4.7L 2UZFE engine in the 100 series Land Cruiser, 1st Gen Tundras, and early 2000 4Runners consistently go beyond 500k miles if properly maintained, with many even reaching 1 million miles. The 5.7 is great too, but not as dependable, as AMD, the YouTube Car Care Nut mechanic, reporting that he's beginning to see head gasket and head warpage issues with those, but only if the cooling system is not properly maintained and they overheat. I've had three Land Cruisers as my daily drivers over the past 30 years: a 1983 FJ60, a 1988 FJ62, and a 2000 100-series, which is still my current vehicle with 200k+, and I have yet to be stranded. Newer Toyotas aren't what they used to be, but you can't go wrong with a good, reliable low mileage 4.7 or 5.7 Toyota V8. They are thirsty, though, especially the 100-series, which is full-time 4WD Hi. I average about 13 MPG, but the thing is a tank and still drives like new. Just my 2 cents, and I am mechanically inclined and have worked on all makes and models. I'm also a born and raised cheesehead now residing in New Mexico. Come out to the SW and get yourself a used, good condition, rust free Toyota of the type I've recommended and you likely won't have these issues anymore. Whatever you do, good luck, Vince! Go Packers and Badgers!

  2. Sorry I missed your live stream. It was early my time I wasn’t up yet 😆. I agree with you For the business standpoint go with the white one and sister/tan one for primary chase vehicles and reduce operating costs. Use the new truck for special occasions/ road trips to the mountains. I was thinking about you. Glad you made it home safely to your family. Looking forward to the next Live stream. Love you and the family. Take Care my friend. 😊
