  1. Alice Madness Returns forgotten? Mate, that's one of those games that are still alivie and have plenty people making non +18 art for the game. We're even still having analysis of the game.

It's a cult classic and if there's something people love it's to keep cult classics alive.

  3. I've played most of these games and loved them, for their unique features. Here's some more: Asura's Wrath, the Kane & Lynch series, Spider-Man Web of Shadows, the Styx series, the Strider reboot.
I can't remember if you already put them in your previous videos, but there are some more obvious ones like Spec Ops: The Line and The Saboteur

  4. I'm tired of seeing people online in comments saying that the mad max game is underrated. While the car combat is fun the game is extremely repetitive by using ubisoft's formula.

  5. I absolutely love Mad Max, the video game I have played that masterpiece like 5 times completed every mission and found most of the collectibles definitely gonna fire that up on my pc for the first time. Such a amazing game

  6. Mad Max is for me, one of the most boring open world games, period. God awful "just spam attack button" combat doesn't help that fact at all.

Also, Fury Road is one of my favourite movies of all time. But the game? Big, bold, NO.

But then the next game is Sleeping Dogs… It's like night and day, boring "mindless attack mashing, compared to actual awesome game, with awesome fighthing, and incredible open world. Ok, I'll give Max the better driving, but everything else is just subpar.

  7. American McGee's Alice is such a good showcase of why creative media should not have limitations imposed on it by censorship or the woke mob. Its a game and story full of so many stuff that the 2024 world finds problematic, especially its brave decision to surround Alice with so much fucked up traumatic stuff for her young age, and it absolutely works in the series's favor to make it not only unique but memorable. Nothing else is like AM's Alice and only people like American McGee that were focused on showing people a cool story and concept based on their imagination and feelings could have made it.

  8. Mad Max is forgotten and overlooked mostly because of the stigma movie tie-in games have. Nobody expected it to be good but I remember Total Biscuit absolutely loviong it. He loved Sleeping Dogs too, I guess at the time Batman games just stole the whole hand to hand combat part while Assassin's Creed fatigue kinda stunted the open world portion.

Also GTA V released around that time which kinda completely stole the rememberability of the games to anyone who likes these sort of games (which arguably both MM and SD are).

And then there's the fact that not many Mad Max viewers are really all that into games, and not many people in general are into chinese triad underworld game.

Rage, Haze and original Prey are entirely forgotten IMO. Mostly bcause they were kinda bad, but they still had fairly unique mechanics that I did not really see used elsewhere. Well with Prey it took like until Withcer 3 and the "inspection mode" taking off and had to be included with every game at one point lol. Haze was betrayed by trying to be a HALO killer rather than a good game and it kinda did the same thing mechanically as Crysis, so it was fighting uphill battle on two fronts. Rage was just pure fun with really lackluster story. I remember it being really well optimized as it did run amazing on my laptop at the time (which was unremarkable Dell laptop with GT 8600M). But the story is so unremarkable that I even forgot what it was about, I just really enjoyed the mechanics of "more grounded borderlands". It did not do anything revolutionairy but it did blend well vehicles, weapons with varying ammo and light RPG elements into one. It was kinda the western STALKER in a way.
