  1. It's nice to know that Locke is contributing to kickstarting a few games. His big break might have been three decades ago but he is still keeping busy even now being in FF gacha games and such.

  2. Wow… those last 2 bosses are just evil compared to the rest of the game… tbh it turns me off to playing the game.. thanks for playing it for us and saving us the rage haha

  3. Thank you for another amazing adventure, this game was gorgeous and really fun to watch you play! I look forward to your next series, thank you for all your hard work! πŸ™‚

  4. 2:10 Given that you need to find the necessary ingredients/notes for these upgrades, the currency feels unnecessary, since there is nothing else you can do with it. It's late in the game now, but even earlier it rarely if ever turned out to be an actual prerquesite you had to grind for, right?
16:00 Nope, that was tempting fate!

22:10 Obvious solution: Don't mess it up! 😜

    23:20 Yeah, NOT like that.
    25:30 Or that.
26:50 … (thanks for the editing and cuts)
30:00 The big orbs behave a bit like the ones from the Wily Capsule from "Mega Man 7" (although the part before they turn is a lot shorter). Thank goodness that, although elements are a thing in this game, there are no elemental statuses (like burn , frozen and so on).
31:50 And then, teddy-Apino's essence was sprinkled on Europa and she gained the "Hyper-Halberd"!

As always, thanks for the LP! It certainly is a well done Metroidvania albeit, given that it's nowhere near as expansive as the prime examples of the genre, it seems to be a bit too conventional. At least that's my impression from just watching it without actually having played it myself. What I mean is, that certain aspects seem to be hinted at as possible game mechanics, but hardly if at all explored.
The main offender to me is that shadow and color mostly were aesthetical elements, although the early parts gave me the impression that recoloring the world might be a task. But "missing a certain color" as obstacles was downsized to the elemental switches that feel fairly uninspired. The only time it became somewhat of an actual gameplay element was the sequence after teddy-Apino left you und the world around Europa returned to grey.
There probably are quite a few games that tackle "bringing back color to the world" a lot better, although currently to me only "The Void" comes to my mind. It's a game that I still have on my backlog. It's probablyot suited for an LP since the graphics tend to be a bit on the mature site. Nevermind that, I would be interested in other suggestions for this theme.
