  2. You forgot about noisy neighbours, either at campgrounds or boondocking. We've had people park right beside us at Cracker Barrel and they start up their generators! Hello fumes and noise! 😡

  3. My 70+ YO mother did a year+ in a small class B. Rarely did she boonbock, and only when in transit to her southern winter RV resort spot. What did her in was the small space with increasing personal physical challenges. She then upgraded to a park model, then a small home, then finally a 55+ community close to me. It’s something to do when you are still physically nimble.

  5. I went on my first trip. WOW, i brought too much, "Stuff". I really thought I was going use and need it. Guess what? I DIDN'T need any of it. Planning my next trip and selling my house because I can't afford both. It is going to be hard because I care about the people I am leaving, but I can't stand not living anymore…if that makes sense.

  6. God bless you. I appreciate what I have learned in your videos. Real questions and answers. I guess one of the advantages of traveling the way you have is an understanding of several places where you might settle down. If your done with the travel then that's okay. You will have a lot to teach on the transition between the road and a stationary home. Then your motor home will become a vacation home. Enjoy your travels. Looking forward to more videos on the road or not. 😊

  8. I find it interesting that people think taking care of business in a public restroom where Lord knows who did Lord knows what can't possibly be a better experience then waiting outside for five minutes while your partner takes care of business. It's no different than in the sticks or bricks. Ladies and gentlemen think about how many times you've been standing at the sink in a public restroom washing your hands well the person in the other stall who your know for a fact was taken care of number two walks out of the stall and the bathroom without washing your hands?. Humans by Nature can be pretty nasty so I'm going to keep my butt on my own personal pot

  9. Me & hubby are (3) years fulltime in a 34ft ClassA. The idea was to travel for 1/2 year and then retire in southern AZ and travel a bit. We got offered a camphost job in northern AZ … so now we're working (6) months in the summer (salaried) 2nd year, and (6) months full retired in southern AZ 2nd year. It's perfect cuz we stay physically fit and mentally healthy. We're both 67 and having the time of our lives even though the wind is blowing 45 mph right now !!! We plan to have this rotation until we decide not to. Thinkin' 6-7 years. ❤
    Thanks for sharing your adventure.

  10. Great video. You've hit on some great points. Cost of living has gone up everywhere. Many are living the lifestyle today than ever before, some because they want too, some because they have no where else to go. It's hard to dance within the different social economic circles without stepping on someone's toes. Thanks for boondocking responsibility and respectfully.

  11. First time checking out you folks. I know I live under a rock! Actually I live under a tarp tied to my motorcycle and my greatest benefit is church yards. Respect goes a long ways and it never stops amazing me when a Pastor opens a door and allows me to sleep a night on their lawn behind the church or activities center. Yes I have seen campers parking as far away as possible and making services the next day which truly opens hearts
    You are in my prayers

  12. there is no way you are getting on the road for $1400.00 a month. (some vlogs say this) If you want to see things and do things plan on over $3500 a month. 150 a day is super easy to spend on the road just between gas and food .lodging is the cheapest thing in your budget.

  14. One of the better things about the UK is that you can just park in a lay-by for the night, but you can’t in the US.

One of the better things about the US is that there is a lot more wilderness to see.

  15. Different strokes for different folks ! Many are allured by the glamor of the perfect screen shots , but life is not always a picknic IT RAINS ON THE JUST AND UNJUST ALIKE ! Most people get tired of the small campers and even more of the Giant diesel pushers . Some love the nomadic. Life and some love the elbow room of a nice cozy home stuck to the ground ! I’ve experienced both and tired of both . So enjoy each day of life where you are and believe me it will carry you on ! Pardon the rambling but I bet a lot understand !
By the way I enjoy your posts , they take me to places I may never get to go . As mister Spock would say LIVE LONG And Prosper !
