First game Jimmy G was a baller and the reason we won the game I was very impressed and hyped Hitting all the receivers etc. Now I'm second guessing him. Too early to tell but i miss the deep ball compared to our last QB. Is it the offensive line that has him uncomfortable or is it that he just don't got it. I'm hoping for the best but us not being able to score more then 18 points is terrible. I think coaching is holding him back but thats supposed to be the perfect match up. Time management screwing us up and coach play calling and not taking chances on 2nd and 1 or 4 and 1. I want Jimmy G to go thur his reads and step up in the pocket. Went from major confidence to just let the rookie start instead. The raiders also do raider things and beat themselves with penalties, not capitalizing on turn overs, and not putting teams away. How is it that we are spending probably around 2/3 of the cap space on offense and they are sucking and can't score and punting the ball hoping the defense finishes the game.
These teams giving mediocre QBs big contracts makes no sense. They’re not gonna win you a Super Bowl, but they’re also not gonna be so terrible you get a good draft pick. It’s a literal waste of money.

Part of the reaction to Jordan Love is the rule of What Have You Done For Me Lately? The other aspect is that he’s technically a 4th year quarterback. Yes he basically has never played before now, but he spent three years learning under Rodgers and we heard all this off-season how 1 or 2 years under Rodgers is supposed to “fix” Zach Wilson. Also as a Lions fan, the whole NFC North is tired of the Packers so any chance to clown on them is jumped on immediately.

Crosby to me is the best DE, because all the others are pass rushers but he is a pass rusher AND dominates the run as well.
The thing about Jimmy is that we are pretty average even tho he have an average line and great receivers. We are held back by Jimmy. He hasn’t been mid. He’s been BAD. He scrambles when the pocket isn’t collapsing, he misses wide open receivers, he constantly turns the ball over. He’s just been bad. Idk the plan. I think they thought they had something with Jimmy and he’s slowly leading us to want the front office to get fired. And it’s not really that slowly lol

What were the options for a team like New Orleans? They were too good to draft a good QB, and they were in QB limbo and a franchise guy stared them in the face like carr, the downside is you had to overpay him to get him. So either you overpay an average QB or your in the hell of QB limbo like the Bucs were in for over a decade before Brady. What’s better?

As a raiders fan I thought we brought in jimmy G because of how bad the team was last year given the expectations and so for McDaniels and Ziegler to come back they had to at least be mediocre, I think I speak for most of not all raider fans when I say McDaniels has got to go, I was hoping we wouldn’t be good so he could get fired and start over with a new HC and QB but the fish tots from the head down and unfortunately mark Davis can’t be fired

I think the raiders are scared to have a losing season due to the move to Vegas. They're more worried about putting butts in seats and establishing a fan base in their new location. Definitely shooting themselves in the foot with mediocrity. Ironically they can probably make plenty of money with away fans flying to Vegas while they rebuild but so many teams are short sighted in the NFL.
