  1. Deaths aside, this show is easily one of the most consistent I've ever seen. Every episode feels significant in regards to the full story and character motivations, the pacing is always on point, and every ending is ambiguous and leaves you heartbroken. Despite the fact we spend just one episode with a lot of individual characters, they always feel like they get just enough screen time, and their achievements and (more often than not) deaths always feel earned. Absolutely fantastic storytelling.

  2. I remember feeling this while playing the game, I don't care about who dies, who Joel kills, I will always root for him, but show tried to make viewers hate Joel and make him toxic.

  3. I personally felt bittersweet about the series. Like moslty everybody I thought it was great overall but personally it could have been a lil more gritty and gruesome. HBO is known for it with shows like GOT and Sopranos so I was pretty surpised they went a more PG13 route. It kinda makes sense though considering how badly Walking Dead destroyed their fan base by being "too" gruesome (which I'm sure probably left a stink on the zombie genre as a whole). All in all maybe they'll feel they can take more risk with the 2nd season since Ellie will be older but who knows. I'm just waiting for the Read Dead 2 live action to come now that were seeing better quality video game adaptations!

  4. The game cutscenes is much better than this donkey crap show. I'm kinda expecting that his daughter isn't black like in the Wokeflix. And I was right. In the show they put gay sex and communism which is kinda not my thing. If you like two guys sucking eggplant while drinking commi semen then it's for you probably. And the director is a pedo just so you know. And one last thing, they picked Woody Harrelson as Ellie.

  5. I initially loved the show, but now that season 1 is over, I won't be returning. Much of it is just a different version of The Walking Dead … main character always has a revolver, even though there are better weapons not 3 feet away … the monsters are rarely seen … the monsters they most often face are humans … etc. But now you can add to that that Joel went on a murderous rampage and all bud doomed the rest of humanity and then turns around a lies to the very person he did it to save because he knows she wouldn't have wanted what he did to happen. Couple that with the "politically correct" BS the show is pulling and the star basically doubling down on it and saying "There will be more of it in season 2. Don't like it, don't watch."
