  1. Nathaniel Garro has long been a personal favourite when it comes to the Astartes, and I know so many people keep asking me to do more about the Astartes, especially obviously Primarchs, Legions and so forth. So maybe this will be a kick starter to go down that road. If you enjoyed this – HELP OUT by hitting the LIKE 👍 – tell me your thoughts about what could be the next 40K Legend to feature in this series – maybe I will get to cover it inside of a year lol

  2. Realistically an O'Neill Cylinder would not have any windows, would require the cylinder to be in pairs for each set to nullify the movement of the other on the structure, and would have a layer of rock shielding at least 3 meters thick to block radiation. They are very viable, but the popular image of them being a massive room rather then small rooms to avoid air movement being out of control is likely not going to happen.

  4. I don't think the emperor would have done what he did to the thunder warriors to the astartes at the end of the Great Crusade I truly believe he would have kept the astartes around because taking over the galaxy is one thing but then once you have it you need to hold it I don't think the orks would have been completely wipe out if the emperor had finished the human Web way project then yeah the chaos gods would have been greatly weakened but still not completely destroyed and then you would have the future threats as in the tyranids, necrons, the tau maybe still the dark elder I would assume that the elder would have been mostly wiped out but still he would have needed to keep them as a defence force I guess at that point rather than a offensive force which they were during the Great crusade and you never know planetary systems might turn against Holy Terra. Maybe the astartes legions would be broken down into the chapters we have today but not for the reason that it was originally created but so hear me out the great crusade is finished the human Web way is done to a degree say the word bearers are taken out because they wouldn't stop worshiping the emperor and as so they are wiped out so the remaining legions are each given a part of the galaxy to watch over and defend basically wardens and with that each legion breaks itself down into chapters so each system has a stationed astartes watching over the individual systems you know so one chapter is a warden of three four star systems which sounds small but this would be a future where we still have all the legions like the ultima segmentum with the domain of ultramar the five hundred words and bordering realms so like that the ultramarines looked after and controlled that area of space so this would be what all the other legions do which pretty much we already have across the galaxy but it wouldn't be spread out because there would be much more astartes to watch over areas later on like we have now perhaps the emperor with the help of the tech priests of Mars would have gone forward with the upgrade to the astartes to make them into primaris marines.
Its hard to say if the legions would break down into chapters like we have now in 40k each with their own names, armour colours, battle tactics and strategies or would they break down into chapters however they still keep their legions name and armour colours however they maybe add to their name depending on what segmentum they are based in or maybe even just the area they are wardens of so for example the raven guard are in segmentum tempestus and looking in my warhammer book one of worlds in that area phobian which is the dark hunters world but if that was changed it would be raven guard of phobian system. hummm actually that kinda sucks so I dunno about that but the point is the astartes would have been kept if anything they would have been upgraded to primaris marines eventually but definitely I believe they would been broken up into chapters to act as wardens over the imperium to guard it against all threats from outside and within. Absolutely love garro really enjoyed the audiobooks with him I basically have the garro collection definitely recommend it. Cheers for the upload

  5. It is starting to annoy me how misused the term "secular" is in regards to WH40k. Secular means the government does not endorse any state religion and more crucially, also does not enforce a lack of religion. Secular means you're free to practice or not practice whatever religion you see fit without being persecuted for it (within the bounds of the law, obviously. No murder cults sorry)

  6. I have watched many of your videos. Lots of work there. At the moment I am reading the Horus Heresy. On the subject of the heresy itself I would say that another factor why the heresy was so confronting was that there was a great deal of truth behind why Horus was persuaded to rebel against the Emperor.

  7. My first HH book was Eisenstein. I’d known of the story beforehand but did not know the nitty gritty. It’s the best HH novel in my opinion. Great character build up and development. Mortarion and the Barbarosian DG are great antagonists.

I’m building Garro and the valorous 88 (not the real number but it sounds better in my head) for the new Age of Darkness Horus Heresy game. I’ve equipped Garro with Cataphracti plate and even painting Iacton Qruze as one of my Sergeants. It’s going to be fun.

  8. Just sat through 3 mins of someone telling me that the context, the characters, and background events are important to understanding this character. Thanks. Jeez get to the point already.

  9. New to 40k stared in June on audible. Horus heresy is my starting point I'm on. The abyss. Book I think it's book 7, should I just continue the heresy series in chronological order and then hope into the wider 40k verse? Just a new fan looking for guidance thanks

  10. I would really like to see the conclusion to Garro’s lore being that he became the first martyr by sacrificing his geneseed for the creation of the grey knights. Won’t happen and couldn’t really be plausible to be honest… but it would be a cool and befitting end for possibly the best Astartes that ever lived.

  11. I actually find myself being offended that anyone could think Garro would fall to Nurgle and lead the forces of chaos as a Deamon Prince. After what he's been through, Garro is as loyal as they come. Another beautiful video, Luetin!

  12. People crash ships into the Emperors Children, the Night Lords headbutt people, and the Death Guard lose. I kinda like these consistent themes surrounding the traitor legions, as if the gods are keeping them in their misery and destructive patterns.
