The story behind the new Seattle Monorail artwork

You’ll likely notice some brand new artwork on the historic Seattle Center Monorail guideway columns that line a portion of 5th Avenue in Downtown Seattle and the city’s Belltown neighborhood.

Behind the pieces is local linocut artist and instructor Leslie Moon.

Moon joined ARC Seattle anchor Steve McCarron in the ARC Lounge to talk about how she was selected for the project and the inspiration for the pieces.
