Man, I wish I could catch these streams live so I could have a chance at winning the Marbles races. I'd put Rabi-Ribi up as a game. It's a Metroidvania as well, and I unironically like it more than Hollow Knight, or even most Metroid games. The biggest sticking point is the character designs. You'll know what I mean if you look it up. But the game is officially rated by the ESRB as T for Teen. And there's been plenty of people who streamed it on Twitch without getting in trouble, so there's nothing to worry about. It was even on SGDQ once. I think Chat would enjoy it, because of the contrast between Rabi-Ribi's art style and the style of game Patty normally plays, kinda like 9 Years of Shadows here, but cranked to 11. And I think Patty would genuinely enjoy playing the game, and not want to quit mid-way through.
As for how much of it Patty should play; assuming he doesn't decide to quit early. There's a sizable "post game" that I think should be played. Kinda like how in Metroid: Zero Mission, you beat Mother Brain, which is the end of the "main game" and then there's the post game after that, in the Chozo Ruins.
There's also two DLC's which add more content. They take place after the post game, and are more linear, story focused content. But as for if Patty should play the DLC… That's more up to him. If he's interested in doing the DLC after clearing the Post Game, then sure, why not? But if he doesn't want to, that's OK too. Cocoa Mode in particular I don't see Patty wanting to cover. It's basically the same game again, without cutscenes, and with a slightly different character.
Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will read this comment and decide to put up Rabi-Ribi for me. Just gotta huff copium until then.
