This short looks into the often overlooked Lodestar Island of One Piece. The Grand Line is a special ocean in the breathtaking world of One Piece. There are two parts to the Grand Line. The first part is called the Paradise, and the second part is called the New World. At the end of the Grand Line, all the islands lead to one final island, that is the Lodestar Island. The Log Pose that sailors use to traverse the Grand Line, leads them to the final Lodestar island. And on Lodestar, the log pose goes haywire, and it would seize working there. And it is on this island that sailors find out that there is one more hidden island out there beyond the Lodestar island, and that is the Laugh Tale (Raftel). And that to find Laugh Tale (Raftel), the sailors must find all the 4 Road Poneglyphs, decipher it and piece the information together to make a map. This island teaches those who reach it, the importance of the Poneglyphs. Thus, after reacheing Lodestar Island, the Roger Pirates restarted their entire journey back from stark on the Reverse Mountain. Which leads me to wonder what exactly was on the Lodestar Island that convinced Roger to restart the entire journey from the very beginning?
The Roger Pirates reached the Lodestar island roughly 39 years before the start of One Piece series. This is one year before the infamous God Valley incident where Roger teamed up with Garp to defeat the Rocks Pirates, led by the infamous Captain Rocks D. Xebec. So this puts all those crazy theories about the God Valley being under Enies Lobby’s waterfall somewhat understandable.
