Very well-crafted video, ERod; always enjoy hearing your thoughts. I'm glad CR has been of help to you during these painful times and I want to give you a ghost hug. (HUG)
Hey, ERod. You are a strong and talented man. I'm so happy that CR has helped you through a difficult time like it has so many of us. We love you. Keep being amazing.
Bells Hells was REALLY slow to start. They're either slow and kinda boring or going 60 miles per hour in full chaos. While the fandom compared them to the XMen, I feel like the characters remind me a lot of fairy tales. Orym is the knight, Chetney is the werewolf, Ashton is Frankenstein's monster, FCG is like Pinocchio. Fearne is the trickster fairy, Imogen is like Dorothy, and Laudna is the Dark Witch. These guys are the most chaotic team.
As for my top three characters…I haven't actually got around to Campaign 2 yet. But so far (having done part of Campaign 1 and 20 odd episodes of C3) I'm gonna have to go with;
1) Grog…mainly because my first DnD character when I began playing almost 20 years ago was a Barbarian somewhat on par with Grog in many ways.
2) Sam… I consider Sam himself a character on the show as he brings so much of himself into every character he portrays and in many respects he is the heart of the group overall
3) well…I'm gonna have to say Gilmore. It's hard not to like Gilmore
First off; when I told my mother that CR and their content had helped them through tough times, she thought it was crazy. She said "if people look to celebrity content to help with emotional or psychological issues…they might need serious help" (ironic though it may sound.)
I, of course knew that when people say something like CR; they mean that the entertainment value helped keep their spirits very high through the toughest times. That, to me sounds more beneficial than taking drugs to help manage your emotional issues…but I digress.
Secondly, who would you all say is the best Adventuring Party from CR; Vox Machina, The Mighty Nein or Bell's Hells?
Hell yeah I can't wait np,also hope your doin well Erod,your amz8ng and my hero. Also for the patron is it just 1 dollar then and donenor is it a monthly thing not sure howvpatreon works but I now have a job with my money so I'd like to finally pledge
Great video, love hearing your thoughts on CR! I do disagree with your thoughts on Bertrand, though I think a lot of that is that my thoughts on character death in stories are influenced by The Expanse. "Everyone leaves unfinished business. That's what dying is."
You're the one who got me into Legend of Vox Machina, and I'm grateful to you for that. I'm afraid that I don't have enough time to devote to CR, so I have to enjoy your enthusiasm as you gush about it.
Fjord, Jester, Nott, Beaux, Caleb, Caduceus, Chettney, Laudna, Fearne, and Sir Bertrand (for as briefly as we had him)

For NPCs in Bells Hells, I'm a suckered for Pate
Great video E-Rod and I hope you're doing better.

We love you ERod. 🙂
I can't watch/listen to the actual play campaigns. So your summaries are the only way I would have known about these characters. Thank you!
