HHH's knee to the jaw is my favorite
Dave Batista's Spinebuster, the way he bounces back from mat and stands after hitting it. Same goes for HBK Elbow Drop and taunts after hitting it.
One that I would add: Hirooki Goto–Ushigoroshi, which is frequently the build to his finisher, the GTR. Significant b/c everybody and their brother is using it right now.
Angle's Moonsault,Orton's Scoop Slam and Styles has the best dropkick
Batista's Spinebuster used to be able to finish off some of his opponents. I'm just saying HHH and Batista should both be on this list.
Alicia fox’s Northern Lights Suplex
Kanes diving clothesline was a marvel and I'd have gone for triple hs neckbreaker personally it looked agonising!
5 Knuckle Shuffle. All I’m going to say
Stephanie McMahon's slap was always a treat. She gets her whole body into it and it LOOKS like getting belted in the mouth by The Billion Dollar Princess would actually wreck a 200 lb man 👸!
The Rock or Umaga's samoan drop
Flair's chops and HBK's elbow drop for sure are among top 10 most brilliantly executed non-finishing moves, were beautifully done every single time
Alicia Fox's Northern Lights Suplex
Viscera’s Sidewalk Slam was great.
Orange Cassidy has a pretty great looking Michinoku Driver
Baron Corbin's Deep Six
John Cena slam before the five knuckle shuffle
aj rope flip into the reverse DDT deserves to be on the list
Okay hear me out. Batista had one of the smoothest and well executed spinebusters of them all. The pick up, the elevation, and the way he would bounce back up to his feet after and just stand over his opponent. It was so clean.
Sami Zayn's Blue Thunder Bomb
Would love a part 2 and 3 of this
Wait, you include the dropkick and don't mention Okada? My goodness.
no 5 knuckle shuffle??
kanes one armed sidewalk slammed is easily the best sidewalk slam
So we acknowledge Eddie Guerrero with three amigos. So we all aware Chris Beniot perfected “suplex city” first? Also I would have put randy Orrin drop kick of Hardcore Holly. Randy’s is so damn smooth.
Randy Ortons Powerslam
No deep six?
Any move in Mr perfects repertoire
HHH is a good call, but he also killed it with the jumping knee strike and facebuster too.
7:05 you literally read my mind Simon. A couple more moves that should be here from Randy, scoop slam, his back breaker and the Lou Thez press.
I’d like to add Golddust or Dusty Rhodes’s lay down punch. Never a finisher but still his most popular move. And well Ric Flair’s chops.
Great list! I'm surprised a certain move wasn't in the top 5, let alone on the list all together. I don't know if it's considered a finisher but it was never treated as such. Baron Corbin's deep six. Always looks so impressive, so impactful.
I’ve watched Ups & Downs for sooo long that sometimes when I’m watching a video Simon Miller narrates (like this one) I pause and say “wait… he didn’t give that A UP OR A DOWN” 😅
Finishers shouldn’t be anymore around doesn’t do anything anymore. It is stupid they got away with a finisher to be a finisher. And yes triple h spinebuster just looks so good when he used. I didn’t think any other one was as good looking and devastating.
Bob Holly may be a complete asshole, but I'll be damned if he wasn't one of the most polished and refined workers in the ring, the majority of the time.
I'd like to submit Paul London doing ANYTHING.
Günthers shotgun dropkick. This thing could be his finish for sure!
Otis Vader bomb or world strongest slam or every move involving him landing on his opponent should just end the match ^¥
I love the matt Morgan dead weight ish sidewalk Slam because he (as Heel) just dropped his opponent like holding him even a bit longer would be disgusting beyond belief. Great!
I'm shocked Randy Orton's draping DDT didn't get a nod.
Christopher Daniels' flatliner into the Koji Clutch is one of the best transitions into a submission I've ever seen.
Billy Gunns tiltawhirl slam. Just beautiful
Umaga's Samoan Drop is just sexy
