  1. Video game especially in 2022 mean first visual media than gameplay. How all reviewers and YouTubers could so greatly cheated us and give to this game highest grades without all aspects considered, the game on my PS5 on quality looks so bad asis from early PS4 and Xbox One time and it even with perfect animations, story and gameplay system can't be 9 or 10 in 2022. I blame you all that you are helping to create such confusion in graduation of 2022. games quality standards and because of all of you many of us feel wery cheated and unlucky. As graphic designer I have need to say this and want to very responsibly all think about next reviews and if someone is uneducated adequately to consider all reviewing aspects and elements please educate yourself gameplay is just little part in game.

  2. I got this as part of an Xbox Series X bundle deal. So I knew nothing about this game, and after finally being able to access this game all I can describe it is as snooze.

It reminds me too much of Zelda BOTW but with better graphics. I personally want a different experience.
I hope who ever bought it enjoys it but I'm going back to Mass Effect Legendary Edition and CP 2077.

  3. There is also something called…Spirit Calling Bell that you get from a witch early in the game. I haven't gotten it as I just read about it. It summons spirits that help you.

You can get it later in the game. But it's best from what I understand to get it early.

  5. Does it still have that terrible fromsoft camera "correction" always trying to swing behind your character so you have to constantly feather it in order to look One Direction and walk in another?

Camera assists have been a plague feature in gaming history that for some reason no one has the good sense to turn off!

  6. The only issue I've had is not really knowing where to go. Elden Ring definitely doesn't hold the player's hand and I like that about the game. It let's you find out the hard way whether or not you're in the right neighborhood or not lol. I bought it for Steam and have been playing it since Thursday evening and PS5 on launch day, which has some problems along with the PC version with performance issues but, I e thoroughly enjoyed the game this far. Honestly, Elden Ring reminds me of a Dark Souls 3 BOTW. GOTY for me already.

  7. I think we should give Elden Ring time to get the optimization right. I was clowning on them because I thought it would be a huge success, but it's really been rocky instead. Now I feel bad for kicking when they were on the ground… so sad.

  8. Elden Ring has quickly become my favorite souls like game. It feels like third person Skyrim with a better story, D&D type leveling, absolutely beautiful landscapes, and way better combat. It's challenging but pretty accessible for a souls game. Bosses are still Dark Souls difficult so it may not be for lesser skilled players if they don't enjoy a challenge or have a hard time adapting. A balance of patience and aggressivness is required to win fights so if you're lacking in either of these you may have more frustration than fun. Personally I find these games incredibly satisfying because of the challenge and how good it feels to beat a boss that was kicking your ass at first, and on the rare occasion you beat a hard enemy on your first try you feel godlike haha.

  9. Wow Matty thank you so much for these! I would have completely missed number 10 if it weren't for your help here! Appreciate the work man! Makes me want someone to make a "Secrets of" series where they make an episode for each region of the game-world. That'd be cool. And with the legacy dungeons too since they're so big and intricate

  10. This my first soulsborne game played, and it reminds me of a 360/ps3 game called Two Worlds. Everyone said this was a game changer….yeah theres nothing revolutionary about this game. Its alright, but not a game changer

  11. An addendum to #1, also don't do what I did and take the key at the beginning then use it in the tutorial dungeon then bash your head against that for a bit before even starting the game proper. It's hard as nails and not a great way to start off your playthrough, especially if you're new to these games.
