  1. Want to call them out for having trouble reading the tutorial but damn, 27 minutes in and it's still teaching them manoeuvres. This is a great example in how to not design your game. These manoeuvres feel like they could use a much simpler, and more fun control scheme.

I'm sure it's not that easy coming up with it as a dev, but like I feel Mario 64 already provided a solid foundation to start off for that sort of gameplay a while ago. Sometimes complex manips can be fun in their own way, but this feels like it would benefit from more fluid controls.

I guess this game wasn't intended as a masterpiece, and probably suffered from budget and time constraints 🤷‍♂️

  2. Arin: “I think if I did that move, it would be ingrained in my brain..”
Me: “heheheh.. ingrained in the membrane…”
Arin: “heh… ingrained in the membraaaaane…”

This is the quality content I come here for. When I’m watching GG and Arin or Danny say something and it’s like the one hive brain cell shared by the community just kicks in and conjures up some random shit 😂 Love it

  3. My bf always tells me that this is literally the worst Catwoman if not one of the worst movies ever and I just love making him angry by saying it's my favorite since I've never seen the other ones. 🤣

  4. I will pay to see them try and finish this. I was laughing so hard at all the movement that I nearly passed out, also does it remind anyone else of the prince of Persia game on PS2?

That game was god damn difficult, I can imagine this game controls similarly if not worse. But Prince of Persia: Sands of time was way too hard for young me.

  5. So it costs Catwoman diamonds to learn moves?

Does that mean Catwoman is such a hopeless student that it takes 100 diamonds worth of lessons for her to learn how to whip a weapon out of a guy's hands?

  6. Funnily enough, for a game made for a bellow average movie, it doesn't look completely awful for a PS2 game, at the time there were worse games to play, honestly it plays very similiar to Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness (also a PS2 game), i think it was just pairing a bad movie no one really liked with a hard to understand gameplay that doesn't really flow well when you think of Catwoman and you end up with a worse reputation than you should.

So yeah, the game itself is a 4/10, not awful, not the worse, but for what is worth, a decent game for the time where movie/comic book characters videogames weren't that great…unlike today where we have games like Mad Max or Spiderman and we are soon to get a Wolverine Videogame too.
