  1. It's ok I guess, those bed side tables and lamps are awful and the bed doesn't look great. The white courtains against a white wall… As I said it's ok, not AD worthy, just basic.

  2. Some of these comments are too funny. She made the client happy and that's all that matters.

Not to mention, she gavea lot of good tips. I like how she's not caught up on making things match well. She made the place feel comfortable functional, and cohesive.

  3. YES to Joy's excellent point about higher thread counts NOT being required for good quality/softness on skin, and in fact sometimes trapping heat. Also, blackout curtains or interior blinds can be game-changing!
OCD aside: it gave me life when she moved the bed slightly to center it. : – D

  4. More SLEEP TIPS for anyone who really needs them:
    – A simple, non-fancy foam topper can transform a mattress
    – For tug-of-wars and cold drafts from shared bedding: two twin duvets at night covered by a pretty bedspread or coverlet for daytime is a game-changer and still allows snuggling. : – )
    – For a snoring partner or noisy neighbors: ear plugs can be awesome! ; – ) After much trial and error, I love HEAROS brand Xtreme Protection Ear Plugs NRR 32. Other brands/styles may be too large, firm, and uncomfortable or not actually block much noise (no I don't work for HEAROS ; – ) Expect any earplugs to feel weird at first and give it time to get used to them.
    – More than one temperature of bedding within easy arm's reach of the bed (e.g. an extra blanket in a beside drawer or cubby)
    – My (unrealized) dream solution for a partner who suddenly jolts you awake by tossing and turning a lot: two twin beds just 1/4 inch from each other for easy snuggling (= King size bed dimensions) with a wall-mounted headboard, ceiling-mounted floating fabric canopy, and seating or storage at the foot to conceal the mini-gap. Dreamy!

    Lifestyle Tips for Better Sleep
(some given to me by a professional sleep specialist):

    – Analyze all possible sources of caffeine (coffee, tea, sodas, pain killers, mints, foods, supplements…) and experiment with timing and dosages. An earlier cut off time and/or reduction in total amount can be transformative
    – The same wake-up time every day (with maximum of one hour variation on weekends). So hard to do, but effective!
    – Early LIGHT exposure on waking (either sunshine outside, or a good-quality lightbox inside)
    – EXERCISE!!!
    – If you use melatonin, be aware that it takes a while to kick in
    – Being outside during the transition from light to dark at sunset releases sleep chemicals naturally
    – A get-ready-for-bed alarm to remember to start winding down for bed
    – No bright lights, TV, or devices for an hour before bed
    – If you have a hard time stopping activities at night, remember what good parents know: a child may not WANT to go to bed but it's loving and caring to help them get the restorative rest they need. You, too, deserve plenty of good, healing sleep! : – )

  5. Nice job but I have objections:)
It’s a bedroom why do you need a coffee table and a chair? Also the four long sticks on the corners of the bed occupies the room. It could’ve been calmer but okay

  6. I actually believe the Ficus “Rubber Tree” is toxic to animals. If broken it will have a milky sap that can cause them to get sick! So watch out there plz!! Always do your research before adding plants around cats or dogs.
