The thing is, no New World on consoles, so ESO still only option, sadly.
Cyrodil will be bugged forever. They will never fix it. They just make empty promisis to us players with useless testing for months and its still the same.
New worlds combat system is booty, you can't even block unless you are doing absolutely no other action, you can't even move your feet while attacking at all. Picking up nodes in new world is cooler than any other MMO, I just wonder how many thousands of nodes will the novelty of their gathering system last for, for me it was about an hour or so.

ZOS doesn't listen to its customers well. That is a huge issue. Making feel like they have no input method will ultimately push them to leave. Perhaps not directly, but it will push that way.
Eso's new plan is PVP dungeons. With triggered on and off co-op massive amounts of mobs and tricky mechanics
'what noone is expecting'.. hm.. delete pvp from cyrodiil and make it pve.. the war is over, quests and rebuilding to do!
(and no, nothing new for pvp dudes, battlegrounds stay deathmatch for ever)
ESO is not fun to watch. Combat is bad, animation canceling looks like crap, character models and absence of any simulation of clothing or hair just feels so wrong when the enging already handels cutting edge reconstruction tech. And of course – those aspects make it less fun to play as well.
That will, as long as it exists, inhibit growth like we could see with FFXIV.
It won't, however, affect the current community all that much. Because those players actually enjoy this kind of combat and don't care if their characters look like crap.
Clown store armor sets:
Perfectly Balanced:
1 item: Adds 10000 maximum health
2 items: While in combat, you gain immunity to immobilization, snares, and crowd control
Perfected Perfectly Balanced:
1 item: Adds 12000 maximum health
Adds 8000 maximum stamina
Adds 8000 maximum magicka
2 items: While in combat, you gain immunity to immobilization, snares, and crowd control.
Adds 3000 weapon and spell damage.
Zos are idiots, all they need to do is get new servers that work and ppl will flood back to eso, its the only issue that has badly hindered this game for years

Man people really give Zos a hard time. We are all here watching this because we love or at one point loved this game. Everytime they do anything they get shit. Elderscrolls will never be perfect. It's man made and therefore fallable. I just enjoy it and try and achieve the goals I have in it. I think people invest so much time and money so when zos does an update people are like hey why did u just null and void everything I just grinded for? With powercreep being a thing they have to nerf and buff and rebalance or it would be unplayable and cannot imagine the monumental mind fuck it would be to try and do that.

How about a server update we need better performance like there used to be. I mean hell you can't even run dungeons without lagging out and dying to mechanics :/ and pvp. Dont get me started.
I like New World. But not enough to look at it as an ESO replacement. I am not impressed with being on foot most of the time. I'm Also not impressed with the fighting. Haven't done pvp on New World yet, but can only imagine it being a nightmare. I already heard bows suck in PVP. I'm just crafting like hell and getting good at it while it's still new.
I love ESO for the World, the fighting, the Storys, Characters and Well, every PVE Side of Things. I am bitching about a lot too, but for me there is nothing VG else out there that can engage me like ESO. And i think there is not a real competition, because it is just something else. Other World, Gameplay etc. the Same as FF. And whatever Style you like more, you will Play. No reason there why the different MMOs should be shitting on each other. No need.
What's disturbing about ESO is even this many years after release, they don't seem to have a clear vision of their own end game. The constant changes to crit and the other game systems screams "this is a work in progress!" I expect that with a new MMO (like New World) but I expect it less from a game that should be relatively baked in by now. I always feel like I am just one patch note away from throwing in the towel. I also get that they must cater to their base, but as a player who is almost exclusively interested in end-game, HM content, I feel like I keep trying to order Mexican food in an Italian restaurant.
When playing a Stamina DK you realize that ESO PVP is really undead.
I hate it when they change they change the core fundamentals of the game. We work so hard to get a build organised just for it to be slashed in a couple of months. Really unsettling. I find myself not playing the game while waiting for the patch to be fully released
WE WANT MONKEY RACE (TANG MO), AKAVIR DLC AND A STAMINA STAFF!!!
Yeah I played several NW Alphas and 1 Beta, and my conclusion was that is nothing "New", just another grindy game that it will eventually get old (How fast? Depends on Amazon). But you hit it right on the head there, it is to PVP focused.
Therefore, I'm sticking to ESO and doing my daily enlightened grind, as I just don't have any more time to give to a "New" game…
too many sweeping changes every 3 months makes the game too much of a chore to keep up with
Fatigued is a good word to summarize the general disposition of long term players these days. Tired of the rate of change, tired of the lackluster writing, tired of not having the physical skill set to even succeed in eso despite the endless hours of trying. Playing NW really just makes me nostalgic for what ESO used to be like. It refreshing to not have the sword of, dailies, pledges, writs, gear and mat farming, quest lines and even selling, Damocles over your head.
Somewhere nobody’s expecting? We’re going to Fallout 76 in ESO, boys and girls.
I fully expect next chapter they rework cyrodiil into a stupid pve zone re-releasing it in small chapter chunks over the next 2 years. No PvP zone is made to replace it and it's all half baked introducing a myriad of bugs with no meaningful content added.

I want more sets or skill lines for more highly focused type of builds.
