The first Zombieland became a cult classic, the sequel ‘Double Tap’…not so much. BUT before you decide which one is better; hear me out.

A new banger AND it's about one of my favorite zombie comedies? Let's gooooo! And congrats on doing youtube full time! 🎉🎉🎉
Damn the snes remix went hard
12:01 holy shit I’ve watched this movie so many times but I was like 8. Never knew it wasn’t about a puppy but an actual kid
Hey it's me again!! Still loving your stuff would love to see you cover always sunny in a series as it's my all time favourite comedy and you mentioned covering it during your better call Saul video 💖
When are the next the walking dead vid and you so great
Zombieland is pretty much the beginning days/week of project zomboid
“A clown is a set of fake tits away from being on rue Paul” 😭 craaaazy line
Always loved zombielqnd since my oldest brother showed it to me. Liking movies like that was probably one of the only things we had in common. Great video
I would love a facebook quiz of "Which Zombieland character are you?"
Fun fact- the monster truck in zombieland 2 double tap was named Big Fat Death and had two chassis depicting the truck in the film both owned my monster truck driver Kevin King, the first chassi is a ride truck called Insane Asylum, which was built to hold passengers and closer styled like a stage one monster truck, this was used in close up shots and shots of people driving the truck, the other chassi used for the film was a truck called Fluffy (named for a sponsership with Gabriel Iglesias) and was a standard competition ready monster truck as seen in shows today being a coustum tube chassi, this was used for any action shots as it would have the set up, power and safty equipment to handle the stress of these stunts.
God I hate that Eisenberg d bag.
Madison was my favourite character, she was SO fucking funny man
The Ru paul thing had me teared tf up!🧢😂💯
No shade, but Gen Z people know who Bill Murray is, HowsenNERD. At least, they probably do if they have Gen X parents, right?
zombieland 1 is pretty much the perfect movie 10/10 – zombieland 2 is awful… trash.. probably 3/10 at best and those points are only cos the characters in it are the same as the original.. they could have onjly gotten fewer marks by swapping the actor out for sh*tter ones
Christopher Columbus sounds smart to you? Well, lucky they didn't name the town after his Spanish name.. Cristobal COLON.. sounds like a sh*t name to me!
after i watched this movie i was desperate to eat a twinkie.. thinking it would be some magical, amazing, delicious treat. It was DISGUSTING. I dunno if the ones sold in England arent as good as the American ones.. but it was sickly sweet, and bland, and not a nice texture.. kinda dry…
8:10 im pretty sure those girls werent planning necessarily to rob those two guys.. just anyone who came along the road… but i might be wrong, i havent seen the movie in a while.. or they may have spotted them following so set this trap up to stop them following..
27:46 you forgot the fact that it would be physically impossible to do that.. its not a bunch of stones precariously balanced on the surface of the ground so the slightest push could knock it over.. its got foundations… its only a slight lean.. its been reinforced over time and had the angle changed and stronger foundations etc placed on its weak side… even a bus driving into it at full speed wouldnt knock it over… and not only that, but if some earthquake happened just as he was fake levering it and it did collapse.. it would mostly fall downwards as rubble… not tip over as if its made of cardboard
Omg! Amber Heard!! Lol! Appearance from the Turd!
I can not find tldr YouTube page please credit in your description so I can subscribe to him
Zombie land also known as James's (dead meat) Nightmare
Yeah I also love Madison’s ummmmmm personality
The best part of watching the second movie on cinema is that i was with my domme at the time and masturbated her at the cinema and was very hot
Didn't remember much of the movie outside of how boring it was
I might be one of the few people on Earth who enjoy the second Zombieland over the first one. Well I enjoyed the first one greatly, the way they Incorporated the extended time it took to make the second one and the jokes that ensued felt a lot more clever to me. Plus I felt like the humor intensified as the movie went on while the first one had certain parts that stayed humorous throughout, AKA The Twinkie, not to say I didn't enjoy the first one but I genuinely think the second one had enough new things to make it unique in its own right. I think the real reason they wanted to make a second movie was to finish the overall story that the first one begun, as the characters get more closure for the most part in the second one and are more developed in the first. Plus the scene with the doppelgangers arriving in the monster truck was just hilarious to watch. The only real flaw with the second movie was the love interest for Tallahassee. There were a few other small issues but the same can be said for the first one. Overall I think these two movies are the perfect examples of how to make a spoof of a horror franchise.
Keep in mind a peso is dirt money that’s like 5 bucks
the way I put it, #1 is a Zombie Movie Comedy, it is a zombie movie made comedic. #2 is a Comedy Movie in a zombieland.
What does this mean in practice? Zombieland takes the core concepts of a zombie world, and adds comedy. there is still that feeling of a creepy world, even though there aren't that many zombies for long stretches. Regardless of most of the locations being zombie free, the world feels like a zombie can attack at anytime. The zombie world is the vehicle for the comedy.
#2 is the opposite, the Zombie world is just set dressing for a comedy movie. The zombies arent a present force is the world, in which the comedy is created from; they are purely a plot device when needed to push the plot forward.
why one is better is above my paygrade, but I would guess it is that #1 is closer to the source genre of "Zombie Movie", making it more unique, whilst two is closer to the just being in the genre of comedy, making it more generic.
1st is best could have done with more scenes with the main two
No joke, Zombieland is the reason I got into metal/heavy metal. 9 year old me loved that Metallica song so much, I asked my dad "what song was that? That was awesome!" To my dad's delight he pulled out every Metallica CD he had. So that, and the fact it's a funny well made movie, Zombieland holds a special place in my heart even though I've only seen it like 3-4 times.
