Symphony No.12 (I) for Suona and Orchestra
The Twelfth Symphony consists of two movements and is composed for the Chinese musical instrument suona and Symphony Orchestra. There is an instrument of Zhuang Nationality in Guangxi, which is very similar to suona and is one of the main instruments in Zhuang folk music performance. Guangxi Zhuang folk music is used as the material in the creation of the work, and the creative techniques are combined with modern composition technology and traditional composition technology. The brilliant and shocking Symphony Orchestra sound is integrated with the suona performance of Guangxi minority music. People can feel the customs of Guangxi minority in the music, We can also understand the humanistic spirit and lofty realm of Guangxi Ethnic Minorities in the process of human historical development from music.
