I forgot to change my overlay… This is NOT the Candlelight Sessions. In this we episode we will be listening to Greta Van Fleet Built By Nations.
Absolutely AMAZING heavy funky riff and groove in that track!! My favorite from TBAGG so far!!!

❤❤❤
Great tune by Greta Van Fleet, for sure. I consider myself a big fan. I am 65 years old, retired drummer. You should try reviewing some other newer bands. I would like to suggest Rival Sons. They are another modern, great rock band that doesn't get the credit they are due.
GVF always puts me in a good way!! Love this song to!! Thanks Shotgunn for another awesome informative reaction! 💥🤘💥
I clicked like before watching😂 Love this song. And can't wait for your reaction to live version.
I knew this would be a favourite. Was often the opener. If you like Black Sabbath the next song won’t disappoint.
Oh good JOD Age of Machine is next and then Tears of Rain and Stardust Chords and Light My Love…I'm so excited I canNOT wait 🤘🤘
TBAGG is a bold, cinematic album that you have to live with and pay attention to. The songs tell a story with a lot of symbolism. It reminds me of a 70’s style concept album. It definitely showcases their musicianship and I love how Josh uses his voice like an instrument.
Thanks shotgunn. love your channel and commentary.
They have two live versions of 'Built by Nations' on their channel:

Here we are.. one of my favorites if not my favorite on the album. It’s between caravel built by nations or stardust chords
When they started touring behind this album (TBAGG), they were opening with Heat Above, which is a great opener, but they switched to opening with Built By Nations for pretty much every show in 2022 and 2023, with just a few exceptions. Great banger for an opener. Literally used to open something like 75 concerts in the last few years.
Spoiler – the new album's first 4 songs released don't have much at all in the way of long solos. Im gutted.
Pounding metal, right? lol I've always heard Sabbath in this song too.
They used this as an opener on their last tour. Great way to start a show
Hmm. I always thought this song was about a war.
Jake has a lot of pedals which he wires himself; his grandfather was an electrician. He loves finding new technology that creates new sounds on his 61' SG Gibson. He has more than 2 amps but there is definitely a Marshall stack behind him.
Fav from them!!
Most of the equipment they use is older stuff from the 60's 70's
Except for any needed things that is
It’s one of my favorites too, this album doesn’t have too many heavy songs and this is just great.
Badass song.
