  1. the ice leviathan’s skeleton heavily resembles a baleen whale, just with higher shoulders. not sure if that’s an intentional design choice but it’s an interesting one for sure

  2. While I don’t have much to say about the ancient and forgotten locations of Hyrule, but I noticed something rather bizarre. Super Smash Bros. Melee first introduced Hyrule Temple. It’s a Zelda stage. Even more than that, it’s a stage taking place high up in Hyrule’s sky. Now the Smash wiki site states in the Origin section that it’s loosely based from the palaces in Zelda II. Zelda II never featured a sky setting and neither did the Smash wiki reveal a specific location from within the game. So why is the Temple high up in the sky? Another thing about the stage is that there is more than one sky island. It’s actually 3 islands connected end on end with each other. And in Smash 4 and Ultimate, if the player sets the stage in Omega and Battlefield (Ultimate only) forms, then not only is there one island that makes the stage in the foreground, but 2 more sky islands in the background. But said 2 background islands match those connected with one another in the stage’s normal form. I get all of this is basically for the sake of Smash, but this stage originated from Melee, and Zelda’s sky settings haven’t been introduced yet up to that point. Not to mention this stage is featured in Melee’s box art and the only time Smash had a specific stage featured in a box art. And not to further mention that while Zelda can be fought in all Zelda stages in certain modes in Brawl and 4 , Temple is her designated home stage in Melee and Ultimate specifically. The temple in the sky is where Zelda is fought to be unlocked in Ultimate. This stage is special for Smash and Zelda (both the character and series alike) in an insane number of ways.

Someone made this slick mod for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2:

  3. I think we can all agree
Tears of the Kingdom is just taking the Minecraft Zelda that is Breath of the Wild and installing the old Aether mod
I mean why else do we have all this crafting and the sky trees all have golden leaves?
    trolling, obviously.

  4. Wow. What an amazing work. I like the last part a lot because the theory of lorurean historian was one i was picking together too. Just wasn't finished and he was faster 😂.
    But great videos you guys.

  5. How can anyone be sure that the spoilers didn't taint the theory videos? I found it very hard to watch anything related to Zelda until the release. It's not that I don't trust you creators, it's just that it's impossible to not take in consideration a new piece of evidence when conjecturing about something. The leak will eventually leak into the theories.

  6. If the leviathans “create worlds”, and you are throwing out that the Great Bay Temple may be a leviathan (which it does look like), then that means Termina was created. That is more evidence for Termina being fake, which is more evidence for Link being dead.

  7. So excited to find a female zelda content creator!!! I've been hyperfixating on tears of the kingdom since they first said they were doing it. I've loved listening to all the guys and their thoughts and theories but its so refreshing to hear a woman's voice talking about the things my brain is itching to hear. Instant subscribe!

  8. Arbiter's Grounds has to be the best location to unearth and reuse. When taking into account the dungeon's lore, aesthetics, great boss/miniboss, spinner item, and excellent pacing – it's easily in the top 5 Zelda locations ever.

  10. Hi Moxie, this is my first vid of yours I have ever watched. First, the video editing is extremely well done and the content you spoke on as well. If I may lend some constructive criticism, people like me, which there are a lot of, really tend to checkout or bypass creators when they sound like they're reading bullet points. Most of us viewers prefer a conversation like delivery, like you're speaking out to us, instead of presenting something in front of a classroom.

Not a knock on you or anything, I will keep an eye out for more of your stuff, but just little bit of unsolicited advice. Good luck with your channel.

  11. I think you got a few of your facts mixed up. You called the Lanayru Mining Facility, the Ancient Mining Facility. You called the Rod of Seasons the Rod of Ages. And you call Jabu-Jabu, Jabun, a character from the Wind Waker.

  13. Isn’t that isn’t the leviathan skeleton you were talking about the Wind Fish from Links Awakening?
It’s skull is pretty much identical to a whales skull and the Wind Fish is a giant flying whale
I’ve seen other people in the zelda community talk about this too
