  1. The fact is V5 is awful across the board. They gutted everything that made the tribes, tribes. the tribes are now uninteresting and universally similar. They have given into the wyrm and i've yet to meet anyone who played anything before V5 that plays V5 or uses V5 lore. The biggest travesty was killing the Get of Fenris because White nationalism as though the get didnt ALREADY purge themselves of extremists in lore.

  2. If I ever played this, I think I would set the game during the early American Revolution. It just seems a much more interesting time period: you have the conflict between American and European 'wolves that just met each other, while they exist at the edge of a 3-way (or 4 or 5 ways sometimes) conflict between natives, America and European powers that they can interfere with, and it's also the birth of industrialization. It's an age of change, many pivotal points converging all at once, and endless different ways that 'wolves can approach them.
It just seems more interesting than the "the world is fucked sucks 2 b you" bleakness that WoD loves

  3. Mistakes spotted immediately:

Auspice is, in both Werewolf 5th and previous editions, based on when you're BORN not when your first change happens
    You mispronounced and mispelled "Galliard"

  4. Man, listening to you come about an inch away from breaking out of your leftist mental prison just to sink back multiple times hurts to see. You're a clever dude and you make great content, I hope you come around to realizing just how awful, deceptive, and corrupt that side of the spectrum has become

  5. It seems useful for adding in lore from past/alternative editions that the lore in World of Darkness often comes across as feeling like what's currently generally believed rather than feeling irrefutably canon. It's like the very core rulebooks for werewolf, vampire, and so on are unreliable narrators of their own worlds.

  6. As a Jew and an Israeli, I was really not pleased to hear that you refer to the land of the Jews as Palestine, In doing so, you participate in erasing the Jewish identity of the Land of Israel, and my personal identity. It is true that this is a post about fantasy, But even in fantasy you can perpetuate lies in reality. "Philistines" in the days of King David, There were peoples who came from the sea and invaded Israel, sometimes also referred to as "the people of the sea". They originate from the islands of Cyprus and Greece. During the Roman rule over Israel, the empire called Israel Provinca Palestine to anger and take revenge on the Jews who rebelled against their rule. During the British rule in Israel, The British called the colony Palestine and every citizen at that time in the British colony received Palestinian citizenship, Jews, Christians and Arabs. So the word Philistine describes political citizenship, and not ethnicity. But again, one should not let the facts confuse anyone seeking popularity.

  8. As far as the vampires literally being the children of cain is concerned: That's just what they believe about themselves and there's a few parts of the lore that are flexible to interpretation. It's vampire religion. It may or may not be the case in world of darkness
