  1. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤I'm so happy you are rescuing horses as well. I live in England and have been rescuing and placing horses for many years. They are such sweet souls and it's such an honour when you earn their trust. I rescued the 2 in my profile which I kept. The one on the left has just turned 32yrs. We all love you Lee and your dedicated staff. If you ever visit England you would be more than welcome to visit ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

  2. I hope your "home" continues to thrive. There are not enough sanctuaries for throw away animals. Why should they no longer be cared for just because they are older, not able to work anymore, disabled, frightened, not able to bear children,or have PTSD from previous abuse? Most are gentle souls who will respond to love and kindness with unwavering affection and loyalty.

  5. ⁉️Question for you. I have four poodles. I love them all dearly. Sometimes I feel guilty that I can’t give them their own quality, emotional love and attention. I can’t because each one wants their own time with me. I do the best that I can as one human. How in the world do you do this with all those dogs and now more horses? I know you’re rescuing them which is very commendable! But how could you get to know them and how could they know you intimately when you have so many? Unlike God that is with us 24 seven and knows even each of the hairs on our head, we can’t be that for our animals. How do you do it and do you have intimate time with each and everyone of them? I’m sure you have people that help you, but do you have intimate time with each?

  7. Lee, so happy for the horses & rescues at your ranch. Never owned any horses myself but feel a strong connection w/ them as I do with all animals (except maybe reptiles). Started watching British horse trainer/problem horse behavior specialist: Steve Young Horsemanship YT channel. He is incredibly knowledgeable about retraining abused & very dangerous horses using humane training methods. He teaches owners how to est. leadership & humanely commands respect from these horses; without this a horse can & will become very dangerous around humans by kicking, biting, throwing them off or a comb. of lethal things. Steve says horses hate having their bodies or necks hit or patted in a rough aggressive manner (instead, softly rub on them, or slightly touch their nose that tells them they are good). Also, he shows how to lower their necks & heads which calms them down & almost puts them to sleep. He says don't eyeball them directly too much but rather look at their feet if you want them to move & don't ever show anger when they aren't listening or understanding what you're asking, rather maintain a calm smile; especially not to hand feed a problem horse giving them treats until you have established who is the alpha in the relationship. Steve Young shows how to gain their respect & show leadership by being firm but also fair when training even the worst behaved horses – mostly just like a pack of dogs function, if they do not have a strong leader (alpha) they will not be mentally sound & can become very dangerous. Everyone would benefit from learning the proper way to handle themselves w/ horses: especially the Amish. Thank God they are now in loving hands & home.
