Raiders fan since I was nine years old and I'm 100% in Carr's corner on this! Especially when you consider how the Davis family has mismanaged the franchise over the years and how McDaniels and Grahams' play calling were laughable when Carr was under center. I'll still be a Raiders fan until I die but the fish rots from the head down.

ive been a raider fan since 1986… DC was done dirty and is a stain on the silver and black… he was never the problem with the raiders… did he make a few bad throws here and there, yes.. but like 95% of his passes were on the hands of his receiver. he was a great leader and great off the field as well. i dont know what mark davis is doing with this team… but im RN4L so i can only hope that something good comes of it. i fully expected carr to waive to get released.. it make the most sense. it was a no brainer. and yeah the raiders did him dirty and reacted in kind. good luck DC4
Carr did what anybody would have done in this situation. Respectfully FU very much Raiders. You took this man through the ringer and had the audacity to embarrass him to the whole Raider Nation. He was not the best but was better than the team overall. He holds all the records for the QB position. I've been a Raiders fan since the Stabler, Branch, Hendricks era. I have no ill will toward Derek Carr. I think he did what he needed to. I'm really more mad at the team because they haven't done any move to move on from Carr in the future and yet they do this bumbling extension, treat him like garbage this year, and all the other stuff. It's frustrating! Even picking up Rogers may make a 1 or 2 year difference but it's no long term plan at all. Please get back to greatness. Where is the commitment to Excellence we all expect.

I’ve been a Raider fan for 32 years and I say good for Carr. The team made a contract and offered it to Carr, it’s not his fault they mismanaged the no trade clause and guarantee date. Carr has always taken less and Structured his deal to help the team.
McDaniels is a lowlife and basically threw the season to get rid of Carr. If your girlfriend does your dirty do you give her a gift when you break up with her? Hell no! So why should Car give a gift to the Raiders? I’m glad he finally had the guts to stand up I am self and do what’s best for him.

It’s a business and the Raiders gave him so much on offense to work with and signed him to multiple contracts. He was treated well by the organization but unfortunately put up average at best numbers.
