Yao Guai | Fallout Lore

The irradiated wasteland has no shortage of mutants and abominations, many of which started life as recognisable pre-war creatures, including Yoa Guai, previously known as The American black bear. Although, thanks to the cruel touch of radiation released during The Great War their DNA was tainted, transforming them into one of the most fearsome creatures to ever roam The Wasteland…Now we know Yao Guai are mutated Black Bears, but what about their new name?

  1. I would give anything to see a Grizzley bear version Yao Guai (apparently the one in the show who killed Titus was from a Grizzley) or heaven forbid a Polar Bear one. Those two bear species are legit monsters.

  2. How in Atom's name did Joshua Graham not only survive a burning fall into the Grand Canyon, but how is he immune to chems? Was that a pre-existing condition, or did the burning pitch have something to do with it?

Also, i opened up a locker this morning, and there were THREE DAMN FRESH APPLES WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM?!?
