wow, great trip, thanks for including the part where the guy was talking about the jig
did you book 1 of those deep water trips yet for Oct or Nov? I went on 1 last year with Yankee
I went there a couple of weeks ago and I loved it, everyone was nice and helpful.
Great crew on the YF!
Our saltwater season is wrapping up here in RI. Even though the tog, cod, and black sea bass bites have been red hot this fall. Earlier this year, I went out for haddock on the Wicked Tuna boat Dot Com. Last year, I went out for haddock on the Capt John boats out of Plymouth. I've never been on the Yankee Fleet, but would like to, maybe next year. I've done pretty good both times. Caught a dozen keepers, some throwback cod (which is closed most of the year in MA waters), redfish, silver hake, and even whiting.
Can you throw top water poppers out there?
