Nobody liked Greg and Tamara in Season 2. Everyone agreed Tamaras Taser was stupid, everyone agreed that we don't care about Greg, other than his origin Episode. So I'm going to agree with you: The writers probably said: "Ok, these two are not working, lets do something else in season 3." But because they were still around and part of the S2 cliffhanger, they just killed them off. You could argue they tried to raise the stakes, but I don't think that worked. Nevertheless: Season 3 is one of the best, so it was the right decison to get rid of them imo.
I haven't found anybody who liked Greg & Tamara. On the other hand, Peter Pan's actor was such a great casting. He really made a wonderful job. And at the beginning I wasn't sure of making Peter Pan a villain could work. It was a huge risk but as I said before the casting made it work.
Yeah Mulan, Jamie Chung, is gorgeous. I can't seem to see anyone else when she's on screen. 😏 And yay for Robin Hood! Sean Maguire made me love that role. And his part in the show is awesome. My favorite male protagonist. Btw, forget all your past influences of Peter Pan. They reinvented him. Wonderfully. 🙃☺ (My morning was interrupted so had to leave and come back to finish)
I never perceived Greg and Tamara as the main villains. They appeared in the last quarter of S2. To me, they were like placeholders for the main villain who they worked for, which is Peter Pan.
I personally don't like them, but I don't think they were useless in the story, they were the ones who brought Henry to Neverland.
