As a Playstation fan since…well, PS1, the last time I owned any sort of Microsoft console was the 360. I have felt no need with my Playstation consoles and PC to get anything Xbox related.
However, this showcase was top tier. I signed up for Gamepass. This is a total win for Microsoft. The fact that damn near every major release they showed is coming day one to Gamepass is insane. I literally already have pre-downloaded Call of Duty Black Ops 6. I haven't played a Call of Duty game for like…10 years. But the campaign interests me and the new movement innovations in multiplayer has my interest piqued. Doom? Hell Yes. Fable? Yes please. Gears of War Prequel? OMG YES. Stalker 2?
I mean, the amount of top tier games coming to gamepass that I won't have to actually pay full price for is insane.
I hope BO6 has a luxury bathhouse map, fucking love shooting my way through a bathhouse in games, the old Quantum of Solace game probably had my favorite map for this.
I have no freaking clue how xbox managed to pull such an incredible showcase out of their ass, like holy shit despite how well the PS5 is doing numbers wise, they somehow managed to one up my current mood on the state of the library. Super excited to see some actual games.
I guess I’m one of the only ones excited for life is strange four I can’t really if that’s max or not I hated the series after one, because all I wanted was a sequel, and not what we got in 2 or the absolute disappointment that true colors was I loved before the storm but finally a sequel. Fable three is over hated that game was such an amazing game to me. I loved it. I would love to see a sequel, but it looks like this absolute disappointment of a fable game isn’t going to be that, I say disappointment because it really looks not that good, I’m unfathomably excited for Gears 6 I never finished gears 5 it was good but I just got bored and it got boring, Black ops 6 having Max Payne style movement would kind of make sense they made a ghost recon style prone movement rotation
I didn't realise kids still argue over which console they like more. Sad. Some good looking games on the way though, And another step away from the anti consumer practice of exclusivity, so a win for everyone apart from those with tiny egos that need inflating by having access to a game that some people don't.
Charlie lost his mind waiting for the next Gears game. He can't even recognize the two most iconic characters in the franchise. Pray for our fallen gear's health.
