I converted all but my mowers to Ryobi 40V line. My mowers are still gas TORO Recycler and Timemaster. I ablsoutely love them.They haven't make a Timemaster replacement yet in EV but the reason to look at Toro is the fact they kept the same metal construction on the electric mowers like their gas counter parts. This is reason enough to look at Toro in the future for equipment upgrades to EV. They are built to last and Toro knows it! I won't touch the Ryobi 40v line due to the plastic construction.

Great timing! I have been looking at battery powered mowers a little bit ever since I got a battery powered chainsaw. That is a Ryobi. But as you say since we're not getting any rain these days I'm not really needing to mow so I can put that off for a while longer. Hopefully not too much longer cuz we sure need the rain. Bought a Toro 60v recycler personal pace push mower about a month ago. It works just as well as my old gas Toro personal pace. During my research I couldn’t justify the extra $$ for the super recycler.

Property is coming along quite well. I am guessing you have a larger mailbox for that package to fit. Almost 1 hour run time behind a push along mower is good for me as I like to rehydrate every hour. While the bagger in intuitive, there are probably 3 pages of warnings and instructions on the procedure the attorney want you to follow. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.

That looks like a nice mower! I switched out to electric mowers 4 years ago when I moved into a house with a smaller yard. I started out with a Kobalt 80v mower that was pretty awesome. It came with 2 batteries and needed both of them to cut my 1/4 acre yard. Sold it when I moved and got a 40v version at the next house. I don't like it as much because when you use the self-propelled feature, it takes 2-3 seconds to really kick in and go, (the 80v does not suffer from that at all) and is not quite as smooth operating, but I've got the weed eater and blower that use the same batteries so I have 3 batteries and chargers and can do anything I need because the batteries recharge in less than 30 minutes.

I am 79 now and I have a bad shoulder so my last gas mower I purchased one with an electric start but I need a new one after 13 years. It’s also a nice Toro super recycler which is in my opinion much better than a Honda. I know this because I rented a Honda mower with electric start that worked ok but I didn’t care for some features my Toro had or the way it cut. Both my Toro I need to replace and the Honda that I rented had electric start does anyone know if Toro offers this mower with the electric start? I understand how the motor powers the blade and propels it along but I am confused about starting it sense I didn’t see you pull a cord or hear it’s engine start. Can anyone explain how this works I am tired of gas engines.

I've, well my wife, has the gas powered version of this. Only thing I don't like about Toro is the fiddly height adjustment, and that's nit picking. It's the middle of winter here in Australia and I need to mow the lawn because it's getting too long with all the rain we've been having, except it's too wet to mow at the moment 🙁
