as a veteran who served on submarines i can say that
obviously that submarine was NOT a US navy one
we would NEVER target a sick child!
The first hurdle when playing Worms is always:
Does this button make me shoot or jump?
After that the second hurdle is realizing that there is wind and gravity.
After you learn those two lessons it's pretty straightforwards.
The bonus hurdles is that Kamikaze doesn't do anything and always use a bat on the barrels. It sends them flying towards the enemy.
That last one was a joke

Worms is always a game I love see being played every now and then, had one for my old DS, forgot controls but it was fun

funny thing is Ze's damage in both games was consistent with 1,047 and 1,044 having a differentiation of 3 points
It surprisingly turns out that "tactical nudes" doesn't really have any search results. I thought it'd return like pics of people tactically hiding their nudity behind stuff or something, but all I got was military pin ups.
Every time Chilled said "My Dinner" I just remember the line from Oceans 13 "My Diamonds."
And in the end the Dinner had the last laugh
I don't understand the psychology behind players targeting their airstrikes at a point in midair instead of where they actually want them to hit. There's no logical reason to do it that way even if you're inexperienced with the game, but it keeps happening anyway.
Chilled with that five-bomb that killed one of his own:
"Some of you may die, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make."
I loved the return of Worms and the return of the amazing banter this game provides! We had the saga of the gas station and the diner gang, and in the end it was truly fitting for Chilled to be destroyed by the building he loved so dearly, lol. Junk getting agitated and everyone forgetting how to jump/jumping to their doom always makes me laugh, so this session had me cracking up several times, lol. Ze fought hard in the first round just to come up a little short, but thankfully after surviving that onslaught in the second round, he came out victorious, as expected of his victor's namesake, lol.
This was a great session and a very fun group that I'd love to see more games from!
i used to play some version of worms (def less fancy than this one) with my dad when i was really young. these series bring me a sense of nostalgy that's not easily replicable, haha
