Working From Dawn To Dusk With Our Horses & Veggie Boys

Ever wonder what its like to be a manager at a horse stable? Follow along with me as we take care of and manage over 21 Horses! And 2 Miniature Donkeys.

My name is Joel, I work and manage Sunny Knoll Stables located in North Eastern Pennsylvania. There’s always something happening as we do our best to take care of these beautiful animals. Between the weather and everyday shenanigan’s, who knows what is going to happen next!

Today is a LONG day, we start early with the horses, and soon make our way to moving round bales for the horses and cows. Eventually making our way into the cab of a tractor disking and preparing ground for planting wheat…

  1. Love all the stuff you showed and the great team work. Gavin is definitely improving & doing a great job narrating and panning the video. Great job, Joel for multitasking and coordinating- love the sunrise and music background & good narration on how life goes on for the stable boyz πŸ‘πŸΌπŸŒΉ Never knew what a horse thrush is till today 😁 , great job to your dad. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

  2. The sunrise time laps were great. what a beautiful landscape you got there. You all show what family is supposed to be and thank you for sharing it with all of us. Gavin is doing a great job and he's really come a long with being in front of the camera. I love it when he's in the back ground dancing or making funny faces…

  3. Wow! You had a long day. You did good Joel. Now Gavin, you are a prize! You always do a good job videoing, you're wonderful with the animals, and a good worker. I like the Stable Boys! I wonder what the donkeys think about staying outside all the time now πŸ€”. So Joel, you've probably told us the reason before but why doesn't Poncho get to be out with the other horses at night?

  4. You fellas both worked so hard. It's nice to have a Gavin when you're day gets split up like that. The support of Gavin is invaluable. Great job Gavin and Joel. Joel I'm glad you appreciate his help, I know he's got to be your best bud.

  5. Busy busy busy, a long day but super productive. Bit of a bumpy ride at times. Well done getting that wheat sown before the rain came in. Hopefully it will only be a few days before the fields turn green.
Eight extra hay bales is a good result. Even if they are not dry enough to cover in plastic they will hopefully be good for the next few weeks.
I thought thrush was caused by a yeast.

  6. Gavin did a great job filming, very different and lovely shots. I know Gavin is family, but is he blood family or chosen family?
Can you do a video with Andrew going over all the family members/relationship to each other (I know some) but it's a bit confusing for those of us that came into either channel recently.

  8. Tell them 'Veggie Boys' to clean all them nasty cobwebs from the bird area of the barn. Not only is it a fire-hazzard, it looks like hell. A good leaf blower would be a good start!

  10. Joel… your dad explained thrush today. I was wondering do the horses have more hoof problems on your farm because you take care of more horses. I guess I'm asking would you have to clean there hooves everyday to prevent thrush. I know that isn't possible. I love the horses and love your channel. Ty if you could answer.
