Yep. I’m doing it. I’m getting bitten by a giant wolf spider.

  1. My house has a lot of these spiders and what sucks is they barely take care of all the gnats/flies and moths also in the house. Sometimes I catch a moth or fly and put it in the webs so they get a taste for it or something idk.

  2. My room is pretty cluttered, so there tends to be wolf spider traffic at night. One morning I woke up with about 10 bites on my feet and in other areas. My foot blistered so bad I could not walk. It was extremely painful. I believe it was an angry wolf spider. I still don't know. People have pointed to bed bugs, mosquitos, ticks. I truly believe it was an angry wolf spider. Maybe angry isn't the right word. But three separate nights I was bitten. The third night was up by my neck, bugger left fang marks. I'm trying to figure why they like to crawl on me. It's odd. I just unfortunately killed one. It was crawling towards my face when I noticed it. I guess I'm just attractive overall. 😏

  3. There is only one time I have ever seen a wolf spider bite, and that was me the 15 year old idiot quite literally poking a mother carrying her young. Felt like one pissed off bee sting but that was about it.

  4. I was bitten by a wolf spider while I was sleeping in a boathouse.
Bit me right on the cheek.
Bigger than the one in your video. I had to hunt him down before I could sleep.

  5. If you are chill you can pick these up by hand and put them outside? How do you keep them from just running and jumping off of you before you can open a door and let them out? Can you do a video on handling techniques?

  6. I got bit by one in the night. Found 6 huge wolf spiders in my house with extremely long legs and one bit me in the night. I thought it was a mosquito bite because it itched so bad but no matter what I used the pain and itching wouldn’t go away. It has 2 fang marks and my skin looks normal in the middle but it’s red circle on outside. I have throbbing pain in my left leg. Feels like a hammer pounding on it. My dad said it’s not brown recluse and large house spiders don’t usually have pain or itching just discomfort. It’s been hurting past couple days. I guess the spiders got revenge on me for spraying their brothers and sisters with bug spray and vacuuming them up. These spiders waged war on me and bit me. It hurts so dang bad. I hope I don’t have to go to the hospital.

  7. There's an easier way to find spiders at night, all you have to do is put the flashlight up to be level with your eyes. If you see shiny dots then that's either mist or most likely a wolf spider. That's in Texas at least..

  8. Most feared hmm. I keep them as pets and have handled them multiple times without incident. They are cool to watch as they actively hunt their prey and the speed is amazing. They are easy to keep too as they can't climb smooth surfaces. I also keep Redbacks, Jumping Spiders and The dreaded Funnel Web…yeah im never attempting to handle the Funnel Web. Shes SCARY even from a distance.
I have handled Redbacks and Huntsman as well. I dont recommend it but its true they will only bite if threatened
