Will This FLOODED Limo Run and Drive After Sitting For DECADES?

I picked up this 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Airport car on the cheap to harvest its 472 Big Block powerplant in the future. We might as well see if it will run and drive again to determine if we scored big, or busted

  1. Thank you for another relaxing evening of Who Gives a Shit car-fueled entertainment, with many classic lines, such as
β€œYou can just taste the regret in the air ” and
β€œAfter runnin’ it should have been pumpin’ somethin’ β€œ. πŸ˜…

  2. Love those old caddy’s when my dad passed away when I was younger my brothers kept some of his old vehicles i got the 72 c10 which sense has had a 462 bbc stuffed in it with a 4l80e with full manual valve body and a floor shifter but my both of my brothers got the 71 dodge dart gt and the 70 Cadillac coupe deville deluxe it’s a convertible car with just under 80k original miles and it was optioned with the 472bb as well my dad had it bored .030 over as well and that thing is a gas hog you can literally watch the needle drop under full throttle lol it’s fuel mileage is horrendous but it’s a great cruiser and it will roast the tires and smoke the whole neighborhood out in a hurry lol once filled the neighbors house with smoke (they left a window open….oops πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ !!!) lol they called the cops on that one haha but they let my brother go sense it was done in the driveway only thing they could say is they could give a ticket for disturbing the piece

  3. Dalton, with your well-known affinity for Pontiacs, you might be interested to know that I once had a 1968 GTO that had been resto-modded by the previous owner who shoehorned a 472 into it. I have pics around here somewhere. It was a hell of a car. I used to park it at cruise nights and lurk around listening to car guys trying to figure out what the engine was. They never got it right.

  4. Old cars like this cadillac are still awesome even when in horrible condition. That's either shows how beautiful classic cars were designed or how bad modern cars are.

  5. You should build a universal engine stand with a rad mount that you can test run them on. Then just rip out everything worth keeping and leave the carcass on the trailer to go straight to the wreckers.
You might lose some time pulling a bad motor now and then but much less risk of down time due to disease.

  6. The 472 is a great engine. The block has high nickel content ( makes it really durable) get a new timing set Cloyes is the brand to get) Oddball is because it's a Cadillac engine and has nothing in common with Chevy.. and made in "smal"l numbers. I have a 72 CDV with 472. Only difference between the 472 and the 500 engine is longer stroke.. every part other vice is interchangeable.
