  1. Imagine if the Snow zone has Gammoth, Goss Harag, and Blangonga. Make it's storm a Blizzard and the Apex wields the winds and snow, said snow could even be somewhat absent with the zone itself being a Taiga (like Hoarfrost used to be).

  2. Without being super spoilery, most of the monsters revealed thus far for Wilds seem to fit the hypothesized "Cryptid theme", with that in mind, Goss Harag would most definitely fit the theme representing as the Yeti for Wilds, plus as Cotton stated, he needs a comeback as he was left out it feels in Sunbreak.

  3. Cotton your ls gameplay irritates me. when you hit with the 3 hit of the big charge attack you can immediately level up to white with the round slash. i dont know why you rolled every time. same with only you using the counter as an escape and not using the actual counter part of it. But still good video dude.

  4. I do wonder what other locales they are yet to show (ice, fire, other) and how they will interconnect with the other 2. I don’t think I’ve seen anything showing mountains or ice yet. I think one or two will come from either rise/sunbreak or iceborne.

  5. Imagine a Goss with the ability to, as a last resort, cover the fur on his back with icicles, somewhat making his body coated in an ice armor on top of forming his ice weapons. Balance a strong offense with a strong defense, but if you get reckless and don’t attack him to break off the ice armor, he could break off the ice armor in a frosty explosion, sending the icicle spikes flying everywhere like Ruiner Nergegante does with his spikes.

  6. 100% Agree. Goss Harag was an instant favorite, breaking into my top 5; over time he's made it into my top 3. Love his design, his fight, and his armor. Some of his weapons could use a glow up (like making his Hammer less of a club and more of a Frost Hammer).

  7. Seems to me that it would be difficult to adapt monsters that are original to MHR since they have a lot of trademark attacks that require proper use of the wirebug mechanic in order to avoid (Goss Harag’s ice breath)

  8. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't find Goss Harag all that interesting, to be honest.
From MHR, I'd rather see Garangolm and Rakna-Kadaki make returns.
From MHW, I'd love to see Odagaron, Namielle, Bazelguese, and Paolumu make returns. (That floating fluffball made me laugh everytime I fought it).

  9. Can we just appreciate the fact that cotton has unique intro raps for each monster he talks about. Only knows the bare bones about wilds cause he wants a blind experience going in and he still pulls out these bangers without knowing much at all.

  10. Bears are INSANE in real life, the physical power of a buffalo with the intelligence of a chimpanzee. Goss Harag is closest to this threat level in MH but he didn’t quite make it, he needs to come back at a higher level and show us what an ice-sword wielding oni-bear can really do.

  11. I think the next monster that will be introduced/revealed would be I think from another biome Wilds would introduce next. If it's a frozen biome, Goss would be good to have along with Gammoth but a new new monster would also be super welcome ❤

….but then again, I'm pretty sure they'd bring back my boi Plesioth
    – to introduce a new generation of hunters to hip check PTSD 😅😅

  12. I doubt that most of base rise monsters will be in wilds, and I'm confident that almost all sunbreak original monsters wont come back at all, my reasoning is that they were made for a MUCH faster gameplay and much different machanics (ie wirebugs), and if they ever come back it would have to be in a title that is much faster paced combat like Risebreak, it would be doing a massive disservice to the monster if they had to slow them down and rework if not remove entire moves from them to make them fit into the slower pace that wilds is going for. as much as i love Malzeno and the others it simply wont be the best choice for them to show up here, though some like lunagaron could most definitely work given odogaron works but he and garengolm would be the exceptions to this.
